Dartz of course

What most people don’t remember is when the S2000 came out, everyone constantly hated on its lack of torque, to the point that Honda increased the displacement later to 2.2 liters at the expense of the super high redline.

The difference is the engine in the S2000 is unique and a bit of a crazy machine. It made more HP/liter than any other N-A engine until the Ferrari 458. Yes you have to rev the pants off it to make power...but it revs like an exotic. Its nuts. The 86 is much more off-the-shelf. It isn’t as fun to put your foot down

How is it not an option? Learn to drive manual. It takes a day.

I don’t really see a need to get one when I already have a Miata. The Miata driving experience is a little more raw and organic while the S2000 is a bit more clinical. Miata shifter feels like you’re doing something major and mechanical but still has a certain svelteness to it. I feel that way with everything about

Wait, so I’m probably behind the curve on this one because I’m a late bloomer in the enthusiast crowd, but this confuses me a bit. The new 86 is both loved, and hated. It gets a lot of crap for not having enough power. But this car, which weighs almost the same, only has 37 more HP and 18 more torque, and you have to

very few cars that look splendid in yellow

I’ll take high revs over low torque any day.

Soon they’ll end up like this.

I think both have become overwrought, to be honest, but certainly BMW more so. I prefer the 987/997 Cayman and 911s to the newer stuff, and I prefer my arguably weird looking 135i to the 2 series.

I remember a time where cars didn’t look like they wanted to eat you. I don’t care much for BMW cars but the E39 M5 sedan looked so chill compared to these new cars and it had 400hp and didn’t look like it wanted to eat you.

I suppose to the casual observer the boxy BMW is more lowkey than a sleek Porsche, but to my eyes, a Cayman S feels more subdued without all the tacky vents, slats and other overwrought BS on the M2

I saw a mint vintage m3 today. They don’t make them like the used to.

Oh, no, no, no, no. I don’t like that grille. First the Kidneys got shorter, then wider, and wider, and now the middle has disappeared? Is it soon going to morph into an ovoid shape, devoid of all emotion and presence?

I think the press release is a bit misleading. There are no major changes, the old car also had M3 axles and shit. But yeah, recalibrated electronics, brakes and the engine might make it quite different to drive.

Wow....maybe BMWS will be cool again! Now if only they’d not slap an “M” badge on the ass of every vehicle they make....

It looks like it hasn’t finished rendering.

Ooh it’s clear they’re trying to give their new fug face a soft landing.

Working his factory workers into the ground.

i must be really special then.... i dont hate tesla.. i hope they do well
