A more plausible scenario would be having two copies of the movie, with “Side A” playing in the first LaserDisc player and “Side B” cued up and ready to go in the second player.  No need to get off the couch, just switch inputs and press play with the remote.

They don’t make ‘em like they used ta! My old car was made of steel and would destroy a new car in a crash!

Disagree.

I feel like GM got it right with the notches in the corners of the rear bumper, and everything else is slight overkill.

They are great in hilly mountains areas as you mention and while towing. Even the best auto transmissions have difficulty keeping a proper gear going up hill.

Most cares are better with an automatic. In traffic, towing, commuting. MOST day to day activity does not need you to be fully connected with the car. you just need to get somewhere. Manuals are cool, but they are worse in almost every way compared to a modern automatic.

Because no one bats an eye at a 70K diesel truck, but a 10 year old mercedes is “look at that rich asshole”.

Rolling coal when a person is in the vicinity and when the individual rolling coal intentionally or knowingly causes that excess exhaust to contact that bystander is AT A MINIMUM an assault. They are causing their vehicle to “spit” on a living, breathing, human being that is worthy of dignity and not having his or her

Hellcat/Trackhawk. Prior to the pandemic, I actually looked curiously at the former, then seriously at the latter. After some soul-searching, I realized that I had no business owning a vehicle with that kind of power. The fact of the matter is that my fast-driving days are behind me, and I had a strong feeling that

When Haiti has a better electrical grid than your state, the arguments that you’re not a “failed state” KINDA go out the window...

@David

Texas is a failed state. I’m sooo incredibly sick of these fucking idiots being allowed to pull this shit. ENOUGH. To bad he was allowed to walk away from the scene.

I don’t even recall when I last saw this marvelous gif and I remember loving it, thank you for bringing it back into my life.

You are perfectly entitled to your opinion. To each their own. I do not like scowly jeep grills and I believe deeply in lockers before lights but the jeep owners are finding joy and personalizing their rides. They are not forcing anyone to do the same. They are not tailgating me or passing me on the right shoulder

And we shall all sing praises to Raptor Jesus.

This is the 2021 version of replying “First” to an article.

This seems like the more intelligent choice. A TRX is badass and super cool, but I would not want to daily one. Hell I wouldn’t even want to weekend one unless I was doing some off road work, and even then only certain kinds of off road work. Raptor is also cool but too wide for convenient everyday use and not really

As a mostly tarmac and gravel enthusiast, I have dabbled in off-roading and higher speed trail driving and have always wondered why the big manufacturers are focusing on full size trucks as their offroad halo cars. Wouldn’t a compact or midsize pickup truck be a much better fit for pretty much all off-roading

I think you need a therapist...

This goes for just about any AWD vehicle. The AWD relies on slight variations in wheel rotation speed to engage. Any difference in overall tire circumference, either from different model tires or even uneven wear, will cause one tire to turn at a slightly different speed than the others and cause the AWD to engage
