Same. I’m an avid mountain biker, ~1000 trail miles last year, but road riding scares the crap out of me. I try to avoid road riding all together as I’ve had to many close calls with people in cars not paying attention, passing aggressively, or passing extremely close.

Ford’s 3 to 5 year strategy for getting back in the good graces of investors should read as follows.

Forget the view, lets talk about those ‘code brown’ seat accents in the AT4. What in the sweet honey barbecue are those! Its like GM can’t design a truck without one glaring imperfection. Also what was wrong with just keeping it named ‘All Terrain’? AT4 sounds like a star wars reference and not an off roading package.

Looks less like a classic Defender and more like an evolution of the LR4 (HA LR5). Not really surprised given how hard it would be to build a vehicle like the old defenders in this day and age with New Land Rovers luxury feel.

There is still plenty of room for improvement and we’re beginning to see it in the form of mild hybrids, individual cylinder shutoff, and 10 speed gear boxes in the full size segment. This technology will eventually trickle down down but only once its cost effective. I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t see a full

I’ve already road tripped Colorado and Washington State (both were fantastic), but I have a few dream trips Im dying to do.

I actually did the Colorado portion of your dream trip, including sand dunes, in a rented wrangler and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. My wife and I flew into Denver and road tripped to Salida, Leadville, St. Elmo, Great Sanddunes, Durango , Mesa Verde, Million Dollar, Highway, Telluride, Black Bear

Especially in Georgia! /s

I seriously doubt Ford is creating a Bronco sub-brand and I can almost certainly guarantee this is the Bronco. Ford is already in the hot seat with investors for losing vast sums of money in Europe. I don’t really think the way to win over investors hearts and wallets is to build a entire Brand of Jeep look a-likes,

Amen. Not to mention that it was during the auto-sales lull of the early 2010's. They should have refreshed it. I always thought the ‘mid gate’ was a terrible idea until I help my father in law move some furniture with it. It was truly a great idea.

Plus the older a truck gets the more fun you can have with it. Parts are cheaper, you can take it offroad and not care, eventually it can become old enough to be cool again (see every square body chevy every made).I love my 16 Sierra but I just can’t bring myself to beat on it like ‘04 Lariat.

MMMM, would love to have one of these. IMHO the best LS swap ever.

How about a Bluetooth receiver for headphones. The Joy-cons run Bluetooth so why can’t just add a little itty bitty channel for headphones? Seems pretty short sighted on Nintendo part considering smart phones are killing corded headphones.

Why would someone pay 2018 1500 Silvarado 1500 LT Z71 for a 10 year old Dodge! I don’t care if it has a diesel and you have to tow your double wide meth lab every weekend. You could probably get a stripper 2500 for less than a ‘mega cab’.

Top of the engine you say, like in the valley of V6? Just speculating but it could have been that the plastic oil filter cover had cracked and was spraying oil into valley. Happened on my wife’s JK after an oil tech over tightened the cheap plastic cover. I saw some oil dropplets on the driveway after we got it home. S

Oh man, too close to home.

Yeah, but it will draw the younger demographics into dealerships where the sales men can talk them into a 128 month loan at only 11.99% on a CPO Chevy Equinox or Sonic.

I still think the Trail Boss LT looks good. It could look fantastic if Chevy got rid of the 3 things I highlighted and toned it down a bit on the aggression. What ever happened to understated beauty and walking quietly and carrying a big stick.
