Wow—I didn't expect to have the reaction I did (which was complete disgust). Before I watched the clip, I thought, "What the hell—if people have money, they should spend it as they wish." Plus, I completely spoil my own (now grown) kids.

I don't like Opera, but I love Oprah!

I think ZoetheBitch's point is that his title is related to his degree (which would never lapse). However, I understand that in most countries (not sure about the US), PhDs only use the title "Dr." when they are in an academic environment.

Who the heck would have someone else's baby if they're not getting paid for it?

I want some pajama jeans, so my boss won't know when I'm wearing pajamas at work.

It sounds like he might have been a coach, and coaches always have kids' numbers.

This is beyond disgusting.

Aren't sperm donors paid for their services in most countries? If so, it's not really "donating," is it?

"I can't get past this feeling that I'm turning thirty."

I was eleven the first time my dad let me drink some of his homemade wine. Forty years later, I'm a bit of a pisstank, so it probably wasn't a great idea.

Is it better? I have it, but I haven't read it yet. I must give it a try.

I love "Geek Love"—I recommended it to everyone I know....and everyone who read it thought it was sick and that I was sick for recommending it. Mind you, that was back in the day when everyone I know was bearing the babies, so they were a little—ahem—sensitive about the idea of chemically created carnival freaks.

@JadeBamboo: The last book I read that I could not put down was "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. "The Memory Keeper's Daugher" was also surprisingly good.

@MissBuckyC: I have NO problem dropping drawer for one or two. As long as there's a tree. There must be a tree.

EXactly. Just roll down the fucking jeans, sister, and the look is fabulous.

@autonaimee: Well, now that you mention it...

@goldlion82: Absolutely. That shooting-fish-in-a-barrel brand of journalism is so shady.

@cmd: ...and a banana.

Well, some of those retired university monkeys should at least be given emeritus status, Pam.
