She's never been in therapy??? That is a BIG problem. Clearly, I know far too little about this woman that I thought I knew far too much about.

Why does she do these torture-fests? Seriously, is this type of thing enjoyable for certain types of people? If it is, I just don't get it. I have a falling out with a friend, and the LAST thing I could bring myself to do would be this. And she does it in front of, like, millions of people.

@Failsafe: I'm with you. I think dick jokes are hilARious.

It really looked rehearsed—as though the two of them thought it up beforehand.

@brokenscope: Did she get a date on Valentine's Day?

Cynthia Nixon looks miserable. What's up with that?

@envirodesigner: Certain kinds of TIAs are most common among people in the 20-40 age group.

OMG—She must've had a TIA! That poor woman!! However, if she went to the hospital immediately, doctors will likely be able to prevent permanent damage.

I don't really care one way or the other about Jennifer Aniston, but, in her defense, doesn't she play a frumpy, be-spectacled, middle-aged single mother in this movie? It's a remake of Cactus Flower, right? But she plays the part that Ingrid Bergman played (in her fifties), not the character played by Goldie Hawn,

Sad Wilco.

Yes, you are exactly correct: it's the hair school of acting. I prefer it to Kiera Knightly earnest-sexy-face school of acting and the old classic Ali McGraw nostril school of acting.

Maybe it's more of a texture thing than a Caucasian thing. The straighter/floppier the hair, the greater the touching. My friends with curly hair never touch their hair.

She always touches her hair anyway. However, she's gone into overdrive, and I think it may be the result of a weave she is self-conscious about.

If you say anything out loud enough times it becomes true! Just ask my mother.

Was it because she was having a silent birth?!!

Yes, the dramatic irony* drips.

So by "psychiatric abuse," do they mean that psychiatric treatment is, by its nature, abuse? Even if they didn't mean that, it is pretty weird that that's the only kind of abuse mentioned.

Jeez, back in the seventies, they left out the subtlety and just went for straight out assholery to try to get women's attention.
