Looks like the casting call found another adorable little moppet who's also a great actor. I need to watch The BFG again, for the kid, the best part of that movie.

I wouldn't classify this as "corporate entertainment" if it actually pushes feminism—in stark moral terms since this is a dystopia—more than most other shows have (I don't have Hulu, yet).

Conway is imprisoned in a tiny room where the walls are mainstream facts.

If you haven't already, you're going to be using that phrase quite a lot in the next few years.

This is surprising. I thought he constantly interrupted her to talk at length and she made funny faces during. But I guess that's a lot of old-fashioned marriages, too. Good for them, I guess.

The conservative response to the "timely" liberal reading of The Handmaid's Tale is up, and pretty stupid: No, no, Gilead is an unintentional warning about liberal society.

I didn't take the series as historically and biographically accurate. Murphy had characters named after these real people to express what he was interested in saying.

Harmer was being ironic because TV is very popular while opera isn't. To her, a TV personality "attacking" (yeah, it was an overreaction to a joke) the medium is more influential than an opera person attacking TV.

The Gunslinger is eccentric King. This trailer seems to have shorn that away.

See, I liked that line because it introduces that Roland's heart may be screwed up that he kills people. If the movie's going for an anti-violence theme.

The graphic violence by a ten year old girl will be much classier.

I don't care! *jumps in Hogwarts' reservoir*

"Mobster's skanky girlfriend" is redundant.

The Live Die Repeat business plan may not work here due to its limited, specific scope.

Someone write that alternate fantasy novel where Fox News never existed but Donald Trump is still president. What does Trump do? How anxious does he become? How does he spend his time when a major source of it is gone, and the only other thing is doing the job but without the policy roadmap of how to do it?

Yeah, I don't think he realizes it doesn't make a difference. The "If" is superfluous; it doesn't change the meaning of the sentence, which is what people are attacking him for.

His support for a wealthy NY real estate agent who routinely didn't pay his working class employees—by saying Trump reminded him of the working class guys in his neighborhood—still doesn't compute. Even though that was nationally the thinking that millions of people engaged as a reason to support him.

I thought the "If" was the one in "I'm sorry if that's cold" which doesn't make much sense. But his actual defense makes less. He's being criticized for saying "If you do drugs or alcohol you die" to which his defense is "I said if." Which is part of the changed-by-you quote we're attacking you for; it doesn't alter

Strange. Baio should know how addictions work; he's a Trump supporter, after all, when all the evidence suggests Trump's bad for you (and America).

I didn't know they were expected reading, so that people felt the need to lie about them. The movies are the classic, popular pop culture artifacts.
