She also did this performance on the Tonight Show. Unfortch NBC won’t let you access the performances after 30 days. It was, as you say, memorable and magical.

I saw them open for Grimes a couple years ago not having heard of them before then.

Both versions of the song have really great videos, a youtube go to when i want to have something interesting to watch. My problem is it’s just such a great song nothing else she does really matches up. I’ve tried the albums but they just don’t take me and it makes me irritated that I can’t me more into it.

I just came to say just this thing. This performance TRANSFIXED me! I think there is something special about seeing them perform, instead of just listening.  

Terrific performance. I tried to think of a way to describe the choreography and the best I could come up with was “extremely French.” Whatever that might mean, I’m sticking with it.

My thoughts went that direction as well. There’s either the body’s under the patio angle, or just the performative nature of it. I guess for a couple of people used to the spotlight, and probably with a lot of friends in the audience, it’s not as awful a way to go as it would be as some accountant to throw a proposal…
