The documentary, currently on Netflix, does a great job of giving a sense of who Lazarus is personality wise as well as giving a feel for the race and those who run it. After watching it I’ve become fascinated with the race, so any new article, like this one, is an insta-read.

There’s a the Barkley Marathons documentary on Netflix (appropriately subtitled “The race that eats its young”) is really good, and covers the 2012 running where there were an astonishing 3 finishers.
