Harry Potter. The wizardry is grossly misrepresented for dramatic purposes.
Given the whole "American religion" thing, it's honestly surprising the Book of Mormon hasn't been more of a hit.
I'm more intrigued by it being written by the scriptwriter who brought us "Saving Mr. Banks" and "Fifty Shades of Grey." Now THAT is an eclectic resume.
In hindsight, this seems like an obvious match.
"we're just going ahead and assuming no one behind that wall is wearing pants"
Yeah, not their best move. Although the gap in quality between episode 9 and this one does demonstrate how well the show is improving.
Good, but not great. I think that since the show has gotten better and established a higher bar, "B-" is definitely fair for this episode. That being said, I like that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is finally becoming a recommendable show, and personally I'd put it about where "Arrow" was at this point in its first season,…
Amazing burn on last season's finale.
"Tony might be the worst Survivor player ever…"
It's forbidden love! Like Romeo and Juliet!
Makes sense; the showrunners of S.H.I.E.L.D. used to be writers for Spartacus.
I'd never thought of it before, but that's actually genius. Can we get an online petition going for this?
Morgan's a pretty compelling option. She and LJ both have medium-scale but positive edits so far, which fits the winner edit mold. They'd be my two top picks.
Sarah's a little too scattered, I think… her edits seem to happen more because things are happening to her rather than because the editors want us to focus on…
The casting was truly exemplary this season. Good mix of interesting personalities, without over-reliance on crazy types (Coach, Phillip, Lil Hantz, etc.) that have tended to dominate in recent years.
That's a good point. Plus, it's worth remembering that at this point last season, we were all convinced Vytas was going to win.
When he didn't play the Idol, I thought, "Well, he must know something we don't know. Or he's an idiot."
Why does that exist?!
Sorry to be pedantic, but…
Hmm. Interesting opinion. I think it's in the running for best season, but what's making you find it weak? (Lack of jokes? Troy and Pierce being absent? etc.) I'm legitimately curious.
