Had a similar experience a few years ago with my cat. Paid for first class and an extra fee for her. I had a seat with storage under the seat. I had given my cat a mild sedative as she hadn’t been on a plane before and I didn’t want her to be freaked out. A few minutes after getting seated I was told I would have to

I have read so many articles, seen so many videos and images, all of which have horrified and depressed me. I am not sure why this particular bit of video caused me to burst into tears, but it has and I feel like it won’t stop for awhile.

One of the issues with black cats is that they often don't photograph well. Shelters try to get pictures of all the cats, but the circumstances are less than ideal. Unless the lighting is great, you have a good camera/photographer, and the cat isn't feeling skittish, it is hard to get a shot that shows their features.
