I feel like last season missed an opportunity to SHOW Sansa outsmarting Littlefinger to justify Arya’s claim that her wisdom has grown. Because while Sansa has had a lot of formative experiences, I just don’t believe we’ve seen enough successful scheming on her part to give credence to her being anywhere in the same st

The whole “going north of the wall to kidnap a wight” crew rode a dragon last season (with the exception of Jon). Not a lot of Targaryens in that bunch.

She probably thinks her dragons are different, because they’re her children, and they know to trust the people she trusts?

Benioff, Weiss, and now we know that only Targaryens can ride dragons, but that doesn’t mean that Jon or Dany do. But I thought that scene was stupid for other reasons; it was time-filler fluff.

and thus Jon should be questioning what it means that he can.

For those that didn’t see it this is exactly how it went down...

Right. For people who are about to be overrun by an undead army they spend way too much time being concerned by dynastic issues. I understood this when whitewalkers were a myth to most but now it seems kind of trivial to be a dick to someone who brought not only the armies but also the weapons that can hurt the undead

Yeah, I haven’t liked Dany in a long while. She acts like she’s entitled to fucking everything because of who her father was, and somehow the fact that he was nuts and wanted to torch KL doesn’t nullify her “rightful inheritance”. Also she’s never been particularly smart, or thoughtful, or strategic, or in general a

If women aren’t being raped or talking about babies the writers don’t know what else to do with them. Guess women just cat fight for no reason? That seems logical. Sansa can play the game better than this.

John Bradley was far and away the acting standout for this episode. Terrific work from him in the scene with Daenerys and Jorah.

She wants to be queen because she can, not because she wants to serve the people.

Yeah there was lots and lots of foreshadowing last season that she’s going to get meaner and more blood thirsty.

Dany really hasn’t been likable for a few seasons already.

They’ve set it up so that by the end of the show we can see her transformation from benevolent dictator to just plain ol’ dictator.

I think you are wrong.  Ceresi didnt want him in her bed.  She is using him as a cover for her pregnancy.  It serves a dual purpose.  It gives the kid legitimacy, and adds some control of Euron.    Her smirk when he said “Im going to put a prince in your belly” told me that I was right.

Nothing will happen in Bran v Jaime

Auntfucking? That’s like, first base in the Seven Kingdoms.

The replies on the owner’s FB comment are about what you’d expect and worth reading. A few people trying to drag her for letting the dog just run off, and she’s like LOL no, he’s a dog who chose us, he loves people and loves to run.

This is my last day at a job I greatly dislike, and it feels like I’ve been here for 31 hours already. It’s not even lunch.

I’m one of those people, and I don’t feel like it’s a kick in the dick at all (or in the vag for me, as it were). The show, on the whole, IS bad now, insofar as plotting goes. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t capable of brilliant episodes or character moments. The first 20 minutes of “Winds of Winter” is the best thing
