I never liked the smile on the Subaru. Smiles can work sometimes but you have to get it right.

25 DOLLARS A MINUTE? That seems excessive.
For me, I would want the smallest possible truck. I’m not a farmer.
You took that real serious, didn’t you...
He’s a hypocrite. Plain and simple.
Every time he says he would buy one in a second, he is bluffing. Yes, you can buy the new basic Bolt for $20k, you can also buy CPO loaded ones for far, far less. I was considering buying one because they are so damn cheap. I’m still not sure I made the right choice buying a gasser in the end, mainly due to New…
“The major advantage gasoline has going for it right now is the ability to point your vehicle in pretty much any direction and now you’re going to get wherever you’re going because there are fueling stations basically everywhere.”

Are we sure these are all real people? Or is someone paying a troll farm in Bangladesh to pump out pro-Tesla propaganda?
Tesla is just a benefactor of what has, unfortunately, become now commonplace: a strong idolization and worship of culture icons that waivers on becoming a person’s whole identity. See also: our departing president, “mommy bloggers”, stance bros, ad infinitim.
Owning stock in a company you cover is considered unacceptable in our industry. To your point about being wined and dined—it’s not perfectly acceptable. It’s the dirtiest part of our line of work. The way we handle it is: If you find yourself in a situation where you have to choose to receive special treatment from an…
Still one of the most questionable branding strategies I can remember.
It’s actually a law that any reviewer must disclose financial interest or perks received. That’s why you’ll always see something like “Ford put me up in a nice hotel and fed me for a day” or something like that.
No automotive journalist should own automotive stock. It’s unacceptable.
Munro having stock in a car company whose image he shapes (whether he realizes it or not) is something I felt we should discuss, especially since Jalopnik plans to continue to cover Munro’s findings.
Bannon bilked Trump followers. Trump pardons Bannon. Followers rejoice. Irony, schadenfreude, and cosmic justice all in one package.
The fact that Chrysler never got a new generation Aspen from the Grand Cherokee/Durango platform pretty much told me that as a brand it was done for. The 300 is not a bad car, especially not in its most luxurious trim level. Chrysler could have been raking in the money with a luxury SUV positioned above the GC…
1st: Let’s stop pretending Dodge and Ram are different brands. There is almost no reason to continue selling Fiats in America. Chrysler seems to be doomed, but there is a lot of brand equity there that shouldn’t be written off. Seems like the proper thing to do would be to bring out some new Chrysler models in the US.
I’m getting cold sweats over here remembering the garbage I posted as a young idiot. Good thing the internet gets deleted every night.
