That makes sense in the lore though. Very few full-bloods ever come to the surface and the number to spend time in Underdark cities is effectively zero. No one else would know or have the convo.

That tracks with my smokey memories of the D’rizzt origin series. It was an iron-fisted matriarchy and they explicitly showed that Dr’zzts father (one of the more respected males in the whole city) was nothing more than a favored slave for killing&banging.

As I said (oh god, its only been a month) at release, the game is absolutley NOT optimistic about the future or painting a rosy outlook. Earth was utterly ruined, everything we love is gone and even now, clinging to barely habitable rocks, we still let the 1% play games and allow tribal infighting to dominate all.
