Basically, yes. He was set to start befored Covid and during the pandemic he had time to spend time and engage with the Osage and essentially retooled the whole film.

I enjoyed the Creator but after a few days of reflection I am viewing it as a fairly vapid film that absolutley failed to capaitlize on the groundwork laid in the first half. The war imagery and non-verbal condemnation of American imperialism was good, the tech design was awesome, their were good actors and talented…

Could not be more excited to see this. May even forego playing Spiderman 2 on my day off Friday so I can go catch an early showing. Would rather spend the whole day marinating in this.
