The only real reward this world offers for hard work and crafting a product that consumers want to pay for.

Not a shock, Gunn is the most talented director\writer that either Marvel or Warner has consistently partnered with on these projects, coupled with a large amount of creative freedom. That can be a compliment or a criticism, anyones choice.

I would love to see marketing data that shows this to be true or not true. Honestly, I’m not sure how you even gather that kind of feedback.

My mother avoids them all but the Guardians of the Galaxy movies which she loves but she found the third one actively annoying and simply could not understand why “Zoe Salad-eyna was acting so weird” (exact phrasing, bless her).

I almost saw it as an homage to those early days of Image. There were some wild character designs at the dawn of Image, even if almost all have faded from the spotlight.

The movie left me with intense sense of whiplash but I did love the scene where they are running across the rooftops. Really cool sense of motion that felt really original. 

Canon is great when it helps something you are doing with the story. I just finished the Immortal Hulk and it was a triumph that draws on decades of stories\canon. 

They thought the show could continue without him and hooboy were they wrong. Season 4 led to a decline in quality and interpersonal problems between the cast bubbled to a head (thanks Chevy!). It is wild how fast they brought Harmon back.

Makes sense. He is hardly the first “name” to be phoning it in. But everyone was (hopefully) getting paid so why try to burn this guy they never saw?

Oh, no, she looks spectacular. Like “crazed wolf in a tuxedo whistling and howling at outrageous volumnes” spectaular.

Watched The Fog the other evening becaus it was foggy out.

I am so glad I basically hit pause at the very start of Act 2, I keep finding enough games to keep me busy and patches keep dropping.
