I am half sold since I already have a 4K HDR TV...however...these alleged confirmations of no UHD player is a serious misstep by Sony. That is one of the biggest things I was looking forward to and now...well..I don’t want to cough up $400 for PS4Pro AND $300 for an UHD player.

If you have a 4K TV or plan to buy one in the future, I would just go with the PS4 Pro. If you are getting the VR, I’d go with the Pro. If you have no desire to get a 4K TV, then the Slim is adequate.

Why? They planned to announce it tommorow at a huge event they payed for. Why would they bother announcing sooner? It isn’t going to impact sales or perception of the product. There is no damage control to be had. For anyone that cares THAT much about the slim, they can read the leaked breakdowns.
