They’re not talking about Crowder losing followers. Just saying that it's ironic that he's against no-fault divorce when there's video evidence of him being abusive. And thus she would have been legally allowed to divorce him even before no-fault divorce was a thing.

It is ironic that he’s railing against no-fault divorce given that his ex (soon-to-be ex?) has cause, and video/evidence to back it up. The law could be different, and she'd still be getting early parole from this marriage.

I got contact-speech impediment from this

Having known someone who had a tank of diesel filled into his Ford Escape I know that it can cost thousands if it doesn’t total the car. As getting the car to pass smog tests afterwards involves replacing a variety of sensors for the emissions control system...

Will they make it right though? Probably not.

In a league that still plays PBR.

Amazing how people feel entitled to products that work properly and contain the content that was promised.

Yes. Is “make sure the game is actually playable before you releasereally such an unreasonable expectation?

They were pretty cool yeah! But I do remember fights taking forever, but I’m really sure if it was because of them or because it was back in the DP era, which already had looooong fights even in 2D

Sounds more like you’ve just grown out of the series more than anything. RE7 WAS the God of War style reboot. If that didn’t get your interest, then nothing else will.

and thats saying something

my favorite top worst take was when one of the articles said about Immortals Fenyx rising and i quote “It’s Zelda without being pious—a criticism I see levelled at Nintendo’s series far too infrequently.

yknow Fenyx Rising....the game all about greek mythology and greek gods....apparenly not

I can accept the premise that Ashley in the 2005 original was little more than a gameplay feature, and her characterization is not deeper than that. It was a fault, but a fault of its time.

This is maybe one of the top five worst takes ever posted on Kotaku.

Jesus. Do you really want Ashley to constantly blabber to you, just so you can “learn who she really is”? Holy fuck, this is a hardcore survival action horror game, who gives a fuck about Ashley’s personality??? Imagine they had added tons of scenes of interactions with Ashley, that you would have to go through again

she even expresses interest in becoming a government agent! That’s vastly more personality than OG Ashley ever had.

I don’t see the problem with her in this remake.  She starts out very much afraid and unconfident, as she should be since she’s an untrained young woman going through a severely traumatic experience.  And then through the small actions she takes she’s able to gain back some of that confidence and sees Leon as someone

That's a no from me. Her characterization was vastly improved and she felt like a much more rounded person.

These clips look ‘interesting’ to me but I feel like the colour palette is a little desaturated or washed out because of the effects. To me this doesn’t look like Pokemon to me, it looks like a sprite based “Pokemon Remake in Unreal Engine 5" equivalent.

Zelda’s the main character. We’ve always played as them.

oh yes, a sort of adventure, but for Zelda. Yeah, a Zelda’s Adventure, if you will.
