What’s insane is that they had to rerelease the game at the time with that code removed. You would have thought they would have started from that version to build their remaster.

He’s trademarking it as a band name. It would just stop other musical acts from using Doomscroll as a band name. Everyone would still be allowed to use the term in other contexts.

Search of the doom wiki returns no results for Doomscroll. If there was even a tangential reference within the game for them to draw on I’m sure those nerds would have documented already so, yeah, this is utter BS. 

Mods made these games enjoyable years after their release and kept them in people’s minds, and looking at the remasters they can’t even do what the modders do. Is this just to try to hide any sort of evidence that other people are doing their job better than they are?

I have to assume this was sarcasm. It is weird to use that game to show of this new state of the art product, the main draw of which is that it can apparently play more complex games that the Switch or a phone cannot.

I hope she doesn’t change it. I understand that it’s easy for me to vicariously take a moral stance, but every time someone gives ground like this, we die a little more to death by a thousand cuts.

That’s not the point, though. The restaurant charges ludicrous prices for the food, yet they’re only offering that measly pay. Doesn’t matter that it’s competitive with other how other restaurants pay. Given the prices charged, it’s way too little to offer to anyone working there.
