2017 was a good year for video games. I thoroughly enjoyed what I could play on PC, Switch, and PS4 (there were also a couple of 3DS games I greatly enjoyed!).

I thought it couldn’t really get any better after Odyssey came out, but then I lost a good 150 hours of my life to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (I previously did this

Wish this article was made yesterday. I had no clue this was a thing and now the time has passed.

Maybe it’s because I didn’t play a whole lot of Brawl (my copy wouldn’t initially play- I had to send my Wii in and everything and it was a huge pain in the ass. Kind of killed all of my hype for the game for a while), but I never felt worse than playing versus Metaknight in Brawl than in any game before or after. The

I hear you, mean. Been green since ‘99!

It was amusing to get yelled at for playing Luigi for around a year, you know, when people learned he was super good in Smash for Wii U. People didn’t believe that I stuck with the character through the Brawl years.

Noivern is probably a little bit better than Kommo-o, but they’re both mediocre for the dragon typing. Noivern’s Boomburst is strong af so if your team needs a special attacker and you have something that can take ice-type hits, go Noivern (he will be one shot by most ice moves). If your team has a reasonable fairy

If memory serves, it was something like 100 mil for the first global event for SuMo, and players only caught 16 mil. A lot of these Pokemon games are probably not going to be opened until December, though, so even getting 5.whatever million is worth something because that’s probably us adults who buy Pokemon games on

Oftentimes overhand shuffling at a Magic event of REL or higher will have your opponents mash shuffling your deck or calling a judge to shuffle for you. Wizards definitely doesn’t like overhand shuffling because in order to sufficiently randomize a deck, it takes significantly more iterations than mash or riffle

That, and Kirby’s Avalanche. I’ve been trash for a long time, but when I was a kid I could at least beat DRMBM or KA. I honestly don’t think I can, now.

I am gutter trash at Puyo, and this is inspiring.

I still don’t get wtf I’m doing with ‘stairs’ and all these other things (I get fucked up by the slightest color variations because I’m bad), but this was... this was something.

I just buy singles to build decks, but you’re always going to have a shit ton of basics by playing limited. You come home with 17~ more lands to put away every. single. time.

Awesome, thanks guy. This’ll be my first first into Pokken and I’m pretty excited to try it.

Well, that’s one way to get rid of the ungodly number of basic lands you collect over years of playing this game.

Seriously, I have two of those gigantic 5,000ct white boxes just full of basic lands, and several fat pack boxes full of basics I couldn’t fit into the large white containers. I’ve got a solid 12k of basic

How important is the Pokken controller? I get it’s only $25, but my entertainment budget is strapped and I’m wondering if that controller is that much better than a Switch Pro controller that I shouldn’t pick up Nier: Automata while it’s discounted over the additional controller (I only have about $50 extra for gaming

Haha, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one picking this up solely because Scizor is playable in it now!

Been my favorite since gen 2! Steel type for life, yo.

ARMS and SFII, I’m guessing?

Too bad their last update won’t be to include bots in all modes.

The game is a ghost town.

I really don’t expect CC to take off on PC. A friend of mine brought it to my attention that you can just stick files in the Fallout 4 directory that makes the game treat the CC content (which it already downloaded via an update) as mods that are already installed.

The way they’ve handled this is a travesty. I don’t

I’m imagining this as Shokugeki no Soma with even more stripping, but that’s probably wrong.

Holy shit, it’s like looking in a mirror.

I did the same and haven’t even started on it, yet. Now I’m stuck with Splatoon 2 and constant field days of work so I haven’t had the time to sink my teeth into it, even now. ;_;
