Hoping the enhanced Switch is an actual hardware upgrade, something to bump it up to being enough to handle current-gen ports with greater ease (before next-gen consoles swoop in, haha). Might be a bit disappointing if it’s just a 1080p screen & more drive space or something along those lines.

Entirely possible! I’ll defend Zestiria by saying it at least has a great cast of characters and I generally found it to be enjoyable, it just has some of the weaker combat in the series and the overall plot has some problems.

As much as I was looking forward to Dark Souls Remastered in general, the Switch version has always been what I was holding out for. 60 fps was tempting, but Dark Souls in bed or on a long flight was too hard to pass up (especially knowing I’m going to be on a few 12+ hour flights coming up soon!).

Maybe Nintendo plans on a mid-generation chip update? I know there was some buzz about the Tegra X2 being in the Switch back during early NX rumors, and with all the dynamic resolution techniques they’re using it would be plausible for them to upgrade the chip and allow games to run at higher resolutions in docked and

I put about 15 hours in to the original and the combat never did anything for me, and that pretty much was what stopped me from finishing the game. I liked everything else about it just fine, but for me a JRPG needs a solid combat system. Are the changes to combat here significantly better than the main game or is it

Not gonna lie, I super like it.  ^_^;

I didn’t even know this was a thing. Maybe it just wasn’t promoted well?  Or maybe I’m blind. It could be that I’m blind.

One of the struggles with playing a critically acclaimed game decades late is by the time you're getting to it, you've probably played dozens of games that've been influenced by the title. It's hard not to compare, even if you know the comparison isn't necessarily fair.

He should probably just write it then and let Madhouse animate it. Keeping up with a Shonen Jump schedule is difficult even for a healthy person, so it seems logical to stick to writing while someone else does the heavy lifting if he really wants to see it through.

This is incredibly weird and I love it. Thank you.

Damn, they actually cranked out those changes quickly. Gotta applaud them for really doing something with the feedback

It’s based on Castlevania 3 but obviously pulling from the art style and story elements established in later games, particularly SotN.

Looks like they’re gonna keep getting people pay for them to turn their obviously incomplete game in to something closer to resembling the thing they originally set out to make I guess.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about a port.

Excellent! Should have been this way from the start. Looking forward to checking out the new offerings!

This is an INSANE collection. Holy crap. My only disappointment is it sounds like Alpha 2 won’t have online play? That’s a shame, it holds a bit of a place close to my heart. ;_;

Between this, Guardian Heroes, Silhouette Mirage, Radiant Silvergun, and Ikaruga... Treasure made some of my fondest childhood memories. So many amazingly designed and unique games. Guardian Heroes is still largely unmatched in the 2D beat em up genre, imo.

I’m not sure I understand, the Snapdragon 835 is in a lot of recent phones, like my Oneplus 5, so what does this do that makes it a gaming phone over other phones with similar specs? Just window dressing?

Hmmm? The anime market hasn’t been shrinking, it’s been growing steadily, with a significant boost over the last few years when streaming services opened up in to other markets, like China, which alone given the industry a several billion dollar boost annually the last couple years.

Glassdoor is sort of useless. Only angry people are going to review an employer, and too often it’s someone who was let go or fired out for revenge. I’ve read too many reviews where I could tell who wrote it and knew they were full of shit to every trust that site.
