I actually just started my 4th play through of Bloodborne, so that’s sort of where my head is at. It’s on my top 5 list of games so I sort of have to recommend it.

OH man, I’m glad there was something newsworthy floating around about this game to remind me I wanted to try it out!
Madhouse does a pretty good job of keeping themselves busy, so I’d wager they just decided to forego the second season themselves. Perhaps the new Cardcaptor Sakura show’s schedule didn’t line up well with Onepunch s2? Either way, wouldn’t worry too much about them!
It’s.... slightly strange to me that this is allowed up on YouTube. For story-driven games it feels pretty much the same as pirating a movie or a TV series. I know enough people that choose not to buy story-driven games because they know they can watch these “movies” and avoid paying for the game that it makes me a…
Excellent game to have on the platform. I look forward to more games like this getting released on the platform simultaneously with the other platforms’ releases, as I generally think I’d prefer it on the Switch for handheld play over other platforms.
I would say it’s going to be a busy week of gaming, but let’s be honest, a new Metroid outranks everything.
It’s really an alright trailer outside those faces, which ARE pretty hilarious. It wouldn’t be the end of the world to update those heads if they can manage the time and make the creative call NOW to triage that situation, but we’ll see if they decide to put that kind of effort in to it.
While I agree with some of the issues that came up increasing the contrast of some of the environment textures, the claim that this cost the game “its soul” is a vast over exaggeration. The game looks phenomenal in HD, and allows you to appreciate the incredible art design of the original, revealing many details that…
Playing the FFXII HD remaster is really reminding me of how completely busted and incomplete XV really was.
Why do I find this so depressing
I don’t really agree. I’ve cleaned the game out and played it a dozen times over now, and while a nice new coat of paint and polished controls will get me to play it once again, I would really appreciate a few surprises for long-time fans. The worst they could do is make extra content I don’t like, at which point I…
It’s baffling that one of the games I’m most excited about at E3 is a Dragon Ball game. I would feel ashamed of it didn’t look so stellar. The fact that Arc System Works will presumably make it viable competitively makes me drool for future tournaments.
Oh dang, I totally forgot about Kirby’s Dream Course. Me and my brother rented that a bunch of times, I loved that game.
Miyamoto’s spoken about concerns over piracy before, so I don’t know that you can say they don’t care about how you play their games, just that emulating old games probably isn’t as high on their list of concerns compared with running pirated copies of games directly on their hardware.
Yeah, in other durability tests for the Switch, the Joy-Cons actually keep the main device rather well protected. Since a bunch of parts of the controllers protrude, like the shoulder button extension and analog sticks, there aren’t many angles you can drop the Switch without the Joy-Con absorbing some of the impact.…
Frederator Studios produced, production and visual development are by Powerhouse Animation Studios, with additional animation services by MUA Film. :)
Kinda lost me when he contested rage in SSB4 is at all comparable to random tripping. One is controlled and can be accounted for, the other is totally random and mucks shit up pointlessly.
Smash has always been a series that bridges the gap between casual and competitive play. Melee did it beautifully; it was huge amongst casual players. Brawl was Nintendo’s purposeful attempt at burning any bridge between casual and competitive play by purposefully adding randomized mechanics that competitive play…
It’s totally possible! I still hear stock sound effects from decades-old sound libraries used today. They probably got the same SFX pack stored away in their database and this prayer was in there labeled something ambiguous so they thought it was safe to use, haha
Zelda has always pushed “it’s the journey, not the destination” reward design, and it does its job well enough in BotW to keep you happily hopping along for 100+ hours, but not gonna lie: I wish just a little more often all my hard work would result in a sweet piece of gear or a unique item or ability or SOMETHING…
