I still miss snaking from Mario Kart DS. MKDS is still my favorite MK game cuz snaking added legit high level play. Fire hopping isn’t terribly difficult by comparison (at least I found) so I don’t know that I’m going to miss it that much.
Holy crap. Thsts a brutal run. Props to the man for making it through! I can’t even imagine trying to just plan for remembering everything. And all upgrades?? That’s insane. Beautiful insanity.
I have on a couple flights. It’s a lot easier to get comfortable in those tiny airplane seats when you can bring your elbows in and relax your arms! Also once or twice in bed, but prefer handheld mode. Haven’t docked my Switch even once.
I’m working on an animated series and have been basically in crunch mode for a solid year. To be fair, it’s somewhat self-inflicted because I refuse to let shoddy work through and often fix it myself, haha...
I almost feel bad that I got through this on my second try without issue, haha... Maybe it’s because I was playing in handheld mode and just held the screen close to my face so I could spot him? :p
Damn it. Why did this have to turn out to be good? And why did it land now!? I hope the game manages to stand out amongst the powerhouses that just got released...
Hopefully Nintendo is planning on implementing cloud saves in the near future. I’m pretty sure there were some patents that implied that, but I’m too lazy to check.
I do think the Switch lends itself as a tablet replacement enough that it should probably support a browser, as well as streaming apps and such of course. It’s a little strange that it won’t at least have that at launch.
I don’t understand how FFXV has so many side dungeons and different enemy types and boss types and just a ton of shit hidden away in its end game, and none of that shit was used during the actual damn plot. They could have easily retooled some of those dungeons and given it some form of plot purpose. I think the…
I was so excited when I thought they were going to pull a World of Ruin in FFXV for that brief moment, and then so, so disappointed.
This looks great. Little bit of Rogue Legacy, little bit of Souls, and Metroidvania all over. Right up my alley.
It’s guaranteed to crush Wii U’s total sales in Japan alone. Japanese gamers have gone portable, and this thing will eventually have Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, and Pokémon, among other things on it. I’m betting this is gonna be a haven for Japanese developed games, similar to the 3DS and Vita. It’ll be great.
Switch will be fine. Japanese gamers have gone portable, so when Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, and Pokémon games get released on the thing, it’s sure to explode there, resulting in a surge in more Japanese developed games, enticing more gamers to pick it up, and etc. I’m expecting 3DS-like numbers.
This is very similar to my list, so I’m feeling pretty good about things.
Eh, it’s weird, but it seems to be one of many varied zones. It looks like each area is vastly different, which could be really neat. I’m sure Nintendo’s got this.
This has me really intrigued. At first it seemed strange, but if it’s a competent competitive game it could very well do what Splatoon did. Not gonna count if out.
I don’t get why I can play emulated games like Guardian Heroes at a higher resolution and more consistent framerate than the original Saturn version just fine on my Galaxy Note 3, but people actually getting paid to port games to mobile can’t make an NES game run properly.
I’m not sure that’s the case, I actually think you have to buy the games as well. The language used doesn’t imply that the service comes with games, but just lets you load up your Steam account and play the games you own. You’re basically just renting the hardware. I’m not sure about that though, the presentation…
I know that when *I* play games, I like more than anything to have a clock ticking down in the back of my head slowly taking my money, that way I feel rushed the whole time I’m playing, never leave my chair for anything, and view every loading screens as a drain on my bank account.
