Now, this is an HD remaster I'm excited for! Damn, that looks nice.

This is more than just a new coat of paint, right? It sounds like they pretty heavily redesigned a lot of the original game's systems, particularly the combat?
It, surprisingly, works really well. The VR still makes for a very immersive experience comparatively. It’s a little difficult to explain without trying it for yourself. It helps that the game is just good on its own, but the VR does add something subtly neat you don’t get out of a normal gaming experience.
Yeah, I would looove if my galaxy note could form buttons for gaming.
There is actually some technology that’s been around for a couple years but hasn’t been quite widespread adopted yet that forms physical buttons on touch screens, and which rumors have it the NX may be using:
There’s already devices using it. They’ve been demoing it for a couple years now at tech shows. It’s 100% plausible. No clue how they actually feel, though..
Yeah, I was gonna say, there’s rumors circulating the device may be using Tactus buttons:
I’m very split on whether or not to support this game. I’ve been a Metroid fan since the original Nintendo, so of course I have my own take on what the series should be, and this doesn’t remotely fit in to that image. But it does look like a fun game that I’d enjoy just on its own. That said, by supporting this game,…
I have a theory about the NX I'm not entirely sure how I feel about. Based on patents that have been files and rumors floating around, the NX appears to be some kind of handheld that docks in to a console to provide additional processing power. What if... The NX is a replacement for the Wii U gamepad, except it's a…
It’s always nice to see folks continuing to embrace 2d animation. This kid’s got a solid foundation for their age, too. Keep this art form alive!
In terms of SFV’s limited scope, I sort of look at the game how I came to look at Splatoon. Splatoon was criticized for being a little sparse at first, but the regular updates kept people coming back and new people jumping in. Now it’s sold over 4,000,000 copies, due in part to its slow roll-out. SFV seems to have a…
What I don’t understand is, why does does this even exist when a much more successful adaptation has already been made: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00HVT…
I would argue that Joe Joe’s Bizarre Adventure is stronger in its recent anime adaptation than in manga form. Not to say the manga isn’t fantastic, I just thought the anime knocked it out of the park.
I might be the only person alive who thinks this, but I still say if they released a phone with the Vita’s form factor running Android, I would trade my shit in and gladly hold that clunker up to my ear while taking calls.
Joe is apparently going to finish out the original comic’s story arc, from what I understand.
It’s cute you think we don’t know.
I might consider taking the video you’ve posted of normal potato textures down. At first, I clicked the video thinking it was related to the mod, and was horribly unimpressed. Luckily, I noticed it wasn’t associated with the mod, but I imagine some folks probably clicked that video and figured the screenshots were…
It looks to me like maybe their specularity maps need some tweaking, and it looks like they don’t have ambient occlusion turned on? There’s a distinct lack or contrast and “pop” compared to the original version for sure.
None of this matters; they will receive every penny they ask of me.
Just in case the obvious needs to be stated:
