Yeah, as others have said, lots of facts wrong here. First and foremost, there were two outs in the inning which negated the need for anything other than a force out, pop up, etc.

I have to disagree. Montero was terrible all season against breaking balls from right handed pitchers. Blanton got him 0-2 and if he throws the slider where it’s supposed to go, Montero strikes out and the game goes to the 9th tied up. Yeah, the Dodgers probably still lose game 1 but not in the soul crushing fashion…
