The man was the definition of a workhorse- 67 complete games over his 16 seasons, over 200 wins, and he could have won many many more if there was a better offense in Toronto. In the discussion of most dominant pitchers of the 2000s it is him, Pedro and Randy Johnson.

Shocked and sad about this one. Halladay was maybe my favourite player on the Blue Jays of all time. He was such a great pitcher, and seemed a good guy. I went to many opening days to see him pitch, and was so happy when he got that perfect game, even if it wasn’t for Toronto. Really awful news.
