If 6 of 18 women were raped in your class that suggests a serious problem in the way Peace Corps operates. You are letting them off too lightly here I think. Once a person is restrained from continuing to do what they were arrested for, there is no reason to kill them. Fiscally, death row costs more and it doesn’t work as a deterrent. It’s morally reprehensible even if everyone on death row were actually guilty, and they’re not.
