People love to complain, myself included. I’m fine with a conservative range estimator, as it was fun to see it change due to charging up before driving or gathering charge from downhill driving (a common refrain on the trip was “it’s free electricity”.)

I recognise that gauge cluster from a recent road trip I did, and I also had the weirdness of the range increasing from ~ 396 miles after a fill up to > 500 miles as actual driving occurred.
