Pretty common. Even Sprinters are up there, I just configured one that was $60k and that was without the AWD option. Event the RAM’s start around $50K before any option if you want one that can carry some weight like a 2500.

If I had to work down there I would take public transport. I would take the VRE as I live out and next to a station and then hop on Metro to go over to the Navy Yard. I am a contractor and work in the Springfield area. I drive in as there is really no public transport option for me that doesn’t involve more time and

It’s there and open. They want people to use public transport to get there. Just like when the new FBI site competition was being done, the 2 main sites were 2 Gov’t properties, one in VA and one in MD. The one in VA is a massive GSA warehouse and situated right next to a Metro Station. The one in MD is on property

In the summer, I mostly drive on the battery because I can, well could charge at work. But now people in their Teslas leave them charging all day rather than up to the 4 hours they should be charging. I have a 30 mile commute each way so it works out pretty good.  When I charge, I just Level 1 charge overnight.

It does suck, but I am not at that point yet. Even driving without plugging in, I still get a little better gas mileage than my old V6 GC. You still get the hybrid drive which helps. It charged some on the way into work this morning as it was 11 degrees and I got a message to plug in to condition the battery lol.

I have the Jeep 4XE 95B recall for the battery pack possibly self igniting. Been putting off taking it in because it has been cold here and from what I have been reading, parts availability is a concern, but more so it seems that the testing done by some dealerships is suspect and people are not trusting the results.

+ 1 for the Mini. Having bought a ‘24 Mini Countryman three or so months ago (dealer loaner), they are fun to drive. Mine is JCW model, not the hybrid, but I love driving it and with the snowy, cold weather, I am in withdrawls from not being able to drive it haha.

That is a good amount. I figured it was in the 60ish+% range.  Over on some YT channels, they mentioned that a lot of the pre-orders were range extended models.  Kyle over at Out of Spec ordered one SUV and one Truck and bother were range extended versions.

Here in the US you can find the same issues in towards the city as well. The supermarket I used to go to when I lived in closer to Washington DC had pretty small parking spaces in the shopping center it was located in. It was a tight fit for my Pontiac G8 GT, full size car but not massive. Moved further out and the

Agree and a good percentage of the pre-orders were for the range extended version.

Exactly it. Bannon was pushed to the side and Musk is Trumps new favorite or so it seems. There are some stories that Musk is hanging around too much now. Musk is everything Bannon hates. Super rich, a globalist, etc...

I would would make it any new gas station needs to add charging as well.   If I pull of I-95 and pull into a Sheetz, it has charging.   Where I live, there are Sheetz, one right behind my house.  Only one that has charging (EV-Go) is near the interstate.  The one behind my house doesn’t and would be nice for the folks

Yeah, for me it is faster charging. There is a good bit of charging along I-95 I could use if I had a full EV. I do a 440 mile drive a couple times a year from DC to the Myrtle Beach area. The MB area is a virtual desert for charging other than a min hub at the mall and different car dealers. There are a couple Rivian

Absolutely!

Yeah DC area was a nightmare for the stores and getting rifled through. I stayed away. I have enough stuff at home to get through a big storm. Well, I thought I did. I shoveled out after the first part and and went to the store because....... I ran out of Duke’s mayo and Martin’s Potato Rolls for Carolina BBQ

He is a “both sides” kind of guy.   “Jimmy Carter was the worst President!” and now “Jimmy Carter was a great!”

I keep forgetting they changed it from 5 to 7.
