Grifters tend to grift together.

Jeep ditched the V8 in the 2 row a while ago in favor for the 4XE system. Where the 4XE falls short is the max towing amount, but how many people of that 4% were actually towing with the V8. The 4XE has a little better performance than the V8 hence why they stopped offering it in the 2 row. Only engines in the 2 row

Mid 80's Nissan Sentra.

They (National Geodetic Survey) are also collecting imagery post hurricanes. They fly one day, process the images overnight and push them to a webserver for viewing the next day. Here is the Helene imagery they flew over Florida and western NC.

Best vehicle evar!

Here in the DC area, there was a run on TP. Whether it was people panic buying or buying places out for relief supplies so they can ship it down to NC/TN disaster area. A few people on Reddit were talking about going into stores and Costco to buy TP and it was gone.

Saw one yesterday morning on my way into work. I was sitting next to it at a stop light but a little behind it. It was wrapped or painted black. In the flat, cloudy light, I could see all the ripples in the body work going down the side. It wasn’t smooth like most any other car. Just wavy stainless steel shit metal.

My sister was up there the weekend before visiting some stores that she has purview over as and HR person. They just had a big product launch so she was up making her rounds.  The store in Boone is right next to the Walmart that was half submerged in flood waters.   Pretty sure the whole store she was at was up to the

A lot of states along the Appalachians can get hit bad with flooding with hurricanes and N’oreasters due to the orographic lifting. They have had bad floods at times in Madison County, VA because of rain in the mountains causing flooding and washing out roads. Vermont has been getting them over the past few years. It

But it is a Thor so horrible build quality, at least on the inside. They showcased the Vision concept last year, which looks, in theory, pretty cool. They also showed off an Airstream trailer that was battery powered that you cold maneuver with your phone into place.

Not a car but I always liked the racing sidecar motorcycle in Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers “You Got Lucky”

F60 Mini Countryman All4 JCW! 301 hp, AWD. Picked up one this past Sat. in metallic grey with a black roof, blacked out badging and red accents. The new ‘25s are a good bit bigger but have the same engine.

I was driving back from Charlotte, NC back at the end of April and I took the middle route back to DC which is taking Route 29 from Greensboro up through Charlottesville and up to Warrenton, VA.  There is some nice 2 lane road winding through the foothills of the Blue Ridge and I thought something was wrong with my

I have tried the lane keeping on my Jeep and it works, but I hate to have to keep my hand on the wheel and not be doing anything. I would just rather steer anyway. I guess I would be an “all or nothing” sort of person when it comes to that, but since there isn’t any “all” system as of yet, I will just steer myself on

Based on the X2 platform. The car is speeding tickets waiting to happen lol. Car seems so slow when doing the speed limit vs my Grand Cherokee.

I am buying a ‘24 Mini Countryman JCW this weekend. To me is just just a bulbus Cooper but it is listed as an CUV/SUV apparently. Now the new Countryman, which I saw in the show room is SUV sized, about the size of a RAV4 if not a little larger.

I had never seen one until Monday while driving into work. Looked up and one was just next to me. Not sure how long they have been on sale, but it seems a while now. Maybe I am confusing all the “Coming soon!” ads for it.

When we have flown mapping missions over DC, we have had USSS riders on the plane to make sure that we don’t deviate from the flight plan and can take over the controls if needed by force. That whole area is a mess of airspace approvals.

I drove through there a couple times on my to SC over Labor Day weekend. I hate I-95 and I-295, though 295 is not too bad south of the I-64 interchange, well apart from the Hopewell police sitting out in the shoulders looking for speeders. They are always out there, sometimes 2 or 3 and especially on holiday weekends.
