This, Congress members want it to stay open because of it close proximity. But they also wanted to keep all their reserved parking in that front main lot at Dulles that is now short term parking.

The Foxhall area of DC is in NW DC by Georgetown. Lot of embassies and ambassadors residences up there. That is to say that that area is comprised of a lot of $$$$$$$ folks. Go past the “Exorcist steps”, past Georgetown U. and then the first right is Foxhall Rd.
The JG Wentworth thing has been a running joke recently in “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. Larry sang it with gusto this past weekend lol.
Yeah. It started with the Tea Party people, and that is where the crazy started coming out, which started branching into QAnon and then the MAGA movement. Even way back in the 80's with the “Kill a commie for Mommie” tshirts and stuff or we should “nuke the Middle East and turn it to glass and be done with it”…
TBH, the party has been this insane for a long time, just that it took Trump to bring the crazy out in the open in a much more public way.
I was going to say, not really a fan of the vehicle, but it that panel version would make a cool little stealth camper like a Transit Connect or Promaster City.
I liked the WK2 body. I am like this version ok, not a huge fan of the rear design though tbh. Shares the ass end design of the Compass. I guess it is OK. I kind of liked the front end of the old WK2 Summit, until I saw the same lower front design on the Chrysler 200...... It felt way bigger jumping into the new…
If you want to read about them, I go to this forum (https://www.4xeforums.com/forums/) and look through stuff. you can see what people are getting or not getting with their 4XE’s, all the stuff. There is a difference in mileage between Wranglers and GC’s. Jeep says Wranglers get about 22 miles on a charge and GC’s…
Thanks. Mileage will vary just like an ICE and how you drive it. If you are a lead foot, you will maybe see less. Winter time I get less out of the battery in cold temps than in warm temps. TBH, there are many ways you can drive the 4XE’s. I have a cousin that has a Wrangler and he doesn’t plug it in. So he drives on…
Love mine (‘22 GC Overland). Some really hate them for different reasons. Some have had issues with them like fire risks on some of the Wranglers, or a module trying to ping the Jeep app constantly draining the 12V battery overnight even plugged in. There is 2 E-Save modes, one maintains the battery pack and uses only…
The Summit one is the biggest change with it being 2 levels now. The overland trim is nicer than the old WK2 Summit trim. With my 4XE I have all the new stuff like the Advanced Tech package with the thermal camera view, passenger screen, and seat massagers. Nicer SXM if you do the Uconnect sub to get the internet…
I think the High Altitude trim was only on the Limited trim level back in the WK2's, but that looks to have changed with the new models. Looks like H.A. package is only available on the Summit and the Summit Reserve, at least on the 4XE models. Overland does not get that or a “blackout” package. Models below that all…
Yep, they offered that the year after I bought my Summit (shakes fist) California package right? Also color coded the side mirrors. I could deal with the trim but the chrome caps on the side mirrors was a step to far. I think you could buy color matched ones and replace them but that was too much effort for me...
I am on my second Grand Cherokee, I had a ‘14 Summit in white. Why white? to try and minimize all the chrome trim and side mirrors... I am now in a ‘22 Overland 4XE and it is a bit better but still has the same heinous chrome trim. It is also white like this one. Minimizes the chrome look a bit so it doesn’t stand out…
She was tweeting about the “Biden crime family” about the same time as he was getting arrested and ended up with 22 counts....
There is a guy I pass every so often going into work and I think he may be a CEO of one of the aircraft/tech companies based at the airport near my house. He seems to change a car out every year or so unless he has a stable of them. One year it was a yellow 911 GT3. Then at some point it changed to an orange McLaren.…
It is not like surge pricing hasn’t been around before Uber, etc... The taxi companies would do surge pricing for big events and stuff here in DC in the before gig economy times. They would surge their costs just like hotels surge their costs one special even weekends.
This was summer, hot sweaty, humid, Virginia summer. But it was like 10 PM so not so bad.
Sometimes, I just like the simple cleaness of vanilla. Nothing else, just that.
