Yeah whenever you hear him end a thought with “nevermind”, you know he is a bit ticked. Cahill is good too.

Haha yes. I just watched Noel Phillips second attempt at a corss-country trip on Gryehound. O.o
Yet when I go down to NC and SC, I still see a mild form of it all the time. It’s there, just not as drastic.
Tiny wheels on dropped single cab small pickup with the license plate recessed into the bed door at an angle.
As someone who lived over in London for 3 years (embassy brat) in the early 80's, Dunkirk was pretty cool for me. We took a boat down the Thames to Greenwich and it had a plaque on the inside that stated it was part of the Dunkirk evacuation. Then at the end, this scene hit me right in the feels, still does at times…
“My parents and I were talking about the china we have over Christmas.”
Some tunnels are repurposed for diaster training like this one in WV. I thought there was one up in PA too.
Seems like all these vehicles are marketed before release as“Starting at “$50 or $60K!” but when they actually hit the market, just add a min. $30K to that amount.
Curb weight for the GC is 5,325 to 5,558 lbs. Curb weight for the Wrangler is 5,100 to 5,222 lbs. So the GC is heavier and front end isn’t the most aerodynamic tbh. It is slightly less boxy, but maybe the slope of the windshield and the sloped sides make a difference. You wouldn’t think so driving around town though…
Yeah. My old GC was paid off and was in good shape with a 130K on it. But after 9 years, I wanted a change and the infotainment portion all ran on 3G which was shutoff, so a bunch of the things I used like the Yelp app for finding places and sending it to the nav system didn’t work anymore.
The older I get, the more a long stop to charge wouldn’t really bother me. Gets you up and moving around, helps mitigate blood clots from sitting in the seat for a long time. Grab a bite to eat, chill, use the facilities, etc....
I am pro EV as well and taken the half step with my GC 4XE. I have made the trip from the western DC ‘burbs to south of Myrtle Beach for Turkey Day and Xmas and both times I made it there with a quarter tank of gas left when leaving on a full charge. Way better than my old V6 GC. I don’t public charge other than at…
When we had that snow storm that shutdown and stranded people on I-95 in Virginia 2 years ago, I talked to someone that was caught in it and was stranded with his kids. He drove a Tesla and he never ran out of battery. He did better than a lot of cars that ran out of gas.
I drink it. No it did me in during COVID and gave me health issues, but that was because I went full octane and drank a lot of the sugary shit. Now I am purely on the zero ones and diet if no zero versions. I drink it for taste mostly. I like colas but get bored with them, but there are things like Sprite, Sunkist,…
The one I have gone to does a pretty good job tbh, better then the new AutoBell near my house.

There is a car wash franchise here in the N. VA area that is buying up all the small, independent car washes and converting them into their own. They really push the membership deals too.
For both “The Keep” and “Thief”, he used Tangerine Dream for the soundtracks. The “Thief” soundtrack has been out for years, but for the longest time, “The Keep” soundtrack was bootlegged. Of course TD did a lot of soundtracks in the 90's like Legend, Risky Business, Firestarter, and Sorcerer to name a couple. http…
It is. My sister makes it for Thanksgiving and maybe Xmas. I refuse to get near it. /shudder
The History channel had TGI Friday’s in one of their “The Food that Built America” series. It was a rather interesting. Started as a party/pick up bar in NY I think and some dude came in and wanted take it national.
