I see that with family in SC. They live between Florence and the beach and they think nothing of driving an hour to either location to go shopping or doctors. Xmas time, they will hit both in a day. Hour to Florence, then 1.5 to 2 hours to Myrtle Beach.  They are just used to driving distances to places.

HSV R8 Tourer or really andy HSV wagon. All the things + manual transmission.

Nope. ‘69 Pontiac Le Mans station wagon with rally wheels (ours had the red caps). We had one in the dark green pain. Loved that thing. I used to sleep in the back area in my sleeping bag on road trips. That back area had the rear facing third row bench seat that flipped up. Also the rear lift gate had the drop down

I do have range anxiety so a pure EV is basically out of the question for me unless I use it for around town. One with a big battery pack for traveling would be nice, but once I get off I-95 in SC, charging areas are not plentiful, especially if I bought a Rivian or something. In the Myrtle Beach area, Level 2 or

I hate everything about coconut. I hate the smell, the fibrous texture, and the taste.  80% of my hate is the last 2 though, I can deal with the smell.

This is what I was thinking with all the Gov’t work they have, a good majority of folks carry a clearance. We had a couple people in our office years ago that were foreigners but legal residents. They were not able to work on things due to not being able to hold a clearance and they ended up being pushed out because

Haven’t seen a rolling wreck like that in a long time, since V8 Supercars at the Bathhurst 1000 in 2010.  Amazing they are able to walk away from these things.

The GC is pretty nice. I had a ‘14 Summit that had $120K on it and it ran fine, but a lot of the extras in the NAV system stopped working because they used 3G signal. Other than being a little long in the tooth, there were hardly any issues with it. I was spending $50 a week in gas, more when gas was up. Now I can run

the lease payment went from $530 a month to $800" O.o

This is the Jeep version. Is OK but it is nothing that I am going to do everyday.

I have seat massagers in my new Jeep. They were just a function of the packages I was interested in and in no way were they a “must have” sort of thing. Having said that, they are kind of odd. It is like a cat on your back kneading with their front feet. There are patterns that go up and down and side to side, but it

A guy that I work with was seeing someone that lived in a condo in Tyson’s Corner and bought a Tesla. I think the cost to get a charger installed at her parking space was something like $5K.  So she had to drive to a local supercharger out in the elements to charge up.

Yeah, there are some nifty Transit connect and the City Promaster conversions on YouTube. Probably the cheap way to get into vanlife or RV life without blowing tons of cash, even though prices are coming down.

Then you can get the Santarosa version and go electric!

I am surprised that the Wrangler gets that much. I am seeing on a 4XE forum I read that it seems that they get about 20 to 22 miles on the battery alone before kicking into hybrid driving. I get about 28 on my GC before going into hybrid driving. It is all goofy though with the MPGe stuff. My Jeep will tell me I have

Yeah, he comes to CNN with a combative attitude so that he can “own the liberal media” and try and get street cred in the Republican party world.

He was smart enough to dodge “eating a corn dog” pictures at the Iowa State Fair, but there is always next year. Example of these types of photos. Perry deepthroating a corndog.

They are following the NFL that decided long ago that it needs to be in the news 365 days a year. Remember weh your heard little to nothing about NFL teams between the Super Bowl and training camp? Not any more. You hear about all the GM meetings, the minicamps, etc.....

Land Rover Defender Camel Trophy versions!

You can say that again! :D
