Lol no. It was “AUS SSV” for a Chevy SS.

So senator who is super busy to take calls, who was waiting on the President to call him (lol), finally took a call from the SECDEF because he figured out that the President isn’t going to call him because he is not important enough.
Luckily I had another vehicle. Drove the Wrangler home and parked it and drove my other car to work...
I traded in my 14' Grand Cherokee recently and parked it in front of the dealership in front of some off-road package, kitted out for zombie apocalypse Ram 15oo. The top of the hood of that thing was halfway up the windscreen of my GC. The GC’s are not the smallest of SUV’s but when I pull up next to RAM’s,…
My only beef with the Wrangler is the driving dynamics. I thought about maybe getting one, until I had one for a loaner and had to chase it all over the lane due to it’s wandering. This was one right off the production line with 23 miles on it. Otherwise, I would be interested in it. I did pick up a new Jeep…
Rode in a Tesla 3 a week and a half ago (Uber ride). It wasn’t too bad but as a larger person, getting in and out of the back seat wasn’t smooth due to the sloping roof line making the back door kind of small towards the back side.
I am heading up that way in a week and half and was planning on driving up the Hudson River Valley and then cutting over to the White River Junction area. Seems like most roads are open but Google Maps took me through Ludlow which was flooded and the road buried in parts. May have to rethink my path.
There was a place in the Myrtle Beach area that was on the show. It still ended up closing.... Don’t know if it is because it was too far gone or the owners decided they knew best and reverted to old ways. You see that on that show “Bar Rescue” too.
If it is going to be anything like my Grand Cherokee 4xE, it does have some regen and I can use the engine as a generator, but that tanks the gas mileage some. Level one charging for that battery is going to be ~15 or 16 hours from zippy to full. Currently my Jeep takes 12 to 14 hours depending on battery depletion.…
Same here. I watch a YT channel of a French girl who is an American-phile, or what ever you call it. In her videos, in France or when she is touring the US, when she sees a Mustang, she always shows them.
I know a 2wd Tahoe fits through that hole. There were a few inches left at the top.
Why does she hate America? Why does she drive a Japanese car instead of an American car? Is she saying America is great, except for the auto industry? Questions that run through my head when I see these folks running around with stickers like this but plastered over foreign brands. I guess because they are built here…
Bought a slightly used ‘22 Grand Cherokee 4XE Friday and the only thing they had on the quote/price breakdown was $995 for Cilajet ceramic paint protection, but had it listed as optional. They tried to sell it to me again when them doing their sales push on extended warranty etc....
Van Gisbergen is used to that type of track and racing. Here is some highlights of the Townsville race from last year. Tight racetrack, public streets, a lot of touching.
I drive a ‘14 Grand Cherokee now, but thinking of upgrading to a new Overland 4XE. But having a smaller fun vehicle like a Bronco would be cool. Probably end up with the Overland, but maybe in the future.......
Thanks. I had a ‘95 Explorer Sport way back but it looks like for that gen they swapped the recirculating ball steering with rack and pinion. TBH I probably wouldn’t highway it much except locally for short distances.
You can get a ute here, but it is an expensive proposition. :(
Jeep has been selling a diesel in the Grand Cherokee for a while. They had the Italian V6 Eco-Diesel in the last WK2. I was thinking about getting it but peopel were having issues with it like busting off the DEF connection to the engine where the DEF fluid goes into the engine. It was on the bottom and people were…
I don’t keep much in my Jeep unless I am on a trip. Going up to Vermont in a month for vacation and I will be taking some tools, a charged up Ryobi tire inflator, Yeti cooler, Rumpl blanket, folding camp chair, snacks, suitcase and that is about it. Just had a good going over on my Jeep so even though it has 120K on…
My sister went to an estate sale down in Charlotte and the guy’s house it was was a model designer for Revell or something. They were selling off his drawings and blueprints of stuff he designed. It’s boats, planes, cars, etc... One of them is the mylar drawing of the Jag XJ220. One of these days I may get it framed.…
