Thanks to Netflix arriving in the UK I decided to catch up on this "Last Airbender" everyone's been raving about and good god damn. This is one of the best TV shows I've seen in years. I can see why it's so popular - smart, funny, tragic, involving, inventive, well written and well animated with pots of imagination.

Anytime I see or hear Lady Gaga mentioned in any context, this is immediately where my mind goes. Every time.

Never forget folks, women are just a bunch of dumb sluts who need to be lied to & controlled for the good of society. Also, gays are all boy rapists, blacks are all criminals, Jews are greedy thieves and left-handed people are the children of Satan who need to be incarcerated for the protection of others.

He's probably one of the very few political leaders in the world who can pull this sort of thing off, even with all the PR in the world. Can you imagine Cameron, Sarkozy or Romney managing it with the same charm and panache? I certainly can't.

I'd like to add Kids In The Hall as a good example of drag comedy, who all often managed to play surprisingly effective and sincere female characters, albeit within their own strange sense of humour.

It's amazing how often this gif comes in handy, it really is.

Seth MacFarlane is on my fantasy kill list. I used to own some of the earlier seasons of Family Guy on DVD. They're still funny but I can't even watch those episodes knowing what the show is now - desperate to be edgy to point of forgetting to even attempt any humour. It's terrible.

I'd quite like to see this, it's like they found my dream cast list.

As I've said before, it's as if almost no one in the Republican contest actually wants to become President - they're too busy waving their dicks about on stage in hope of baiting a book deal and a Fox News slot. They've tried to prove themselves to a vocal minority of their party and have collectively come out looking

Both are awful but Xmas Shoes wins with it's dick-all understanding of both it's own message and the religious pretensions it's trying to associate itself with.

Really, it's the "parents" I blame here. Kids wanting to play pranks on kids is on thing, adults involving themselves to legitimize it - rather then being adults and putting the brakes on before it goes too far - heralds the death of responsible society.

The comic dictator is no new trope and there's great comedy to be had if it's handled with a deft hand, even when based on recent events. I don't think SBC is flawless but I think he might be able to pull something out of the bag, though we'll have to wait and see in the final release.

Sounds like a Sunday well-spent to me.

Let this be a lesson - don't try to be friends and make room for people's petty prejudices, because there's no distinction between people who dress it up in cake-bake sales and raging nut holes looking for a street brawl. You might want to think otherwise, but all the raging nut holes see is somebody who shares the

I like how Futurama's outtakes are still funnier then the best of most other shows.

I do wonder how many conservative candidates publicly oppose gays because they feel that's what the political climate expects of them. One day some weird tipping point will occur where the entire movement realizes that everyone's actually secretly totally fine with it and become the Rainbow Nation overnight.

I would know absolutely nothing about Justin Bieber if people stopped complaining about Justin Bieber. Just sayin'.

The problem with that episode was that it was actually too good - I really like DS9 but the story of a black, possibly mad science fiction writer struggling for his voice in 50s America was utterly compelling and the sets & atmosphere so well done I genuinely forgot I was watching Star Trek. HBO should pick the idea

Fun precident - Ayn Rand was viciously opposed to social security until she started to receive some, after which she became viciously and publicly in favour.
