I dunno. I think we peaked a few years back. 03 was a good year.

I really loved this book. It was a difficult read at times but there was something about it that just felt so uncanny and real. I'm not a huge fan of the genetic modification panic stuff although that was certainly interesting. My absolute favorite thing about this book was the character Oryx and how her story relates

I think it's reverse psychology. Once it isn't verboten it sort of loses it's sparkle. After all, did you ever have teenage sex? The worst.

Ugh! This! I relate so much. My boobs used to be the only thing I liked about myself. And then I turned 30 and they just went, fuck you, we're doing what we want. And now I'm having to rebuild this whole idea of my self worth out of more than some weird lumps on my chest. It's kind of great.
