I thought I was imagining it, but the talk show “The Daily Rip” is a spoof of Morning Joe. The fonts in the graphics looked familiar and I couldn’t figure out what was going on until I saw Cate Blanchett. She is supposed to be Mika Brzezinski. I kept thinking “this can’t be right” but several web sites and critics…

Young Sheldon is not bad, I really like Iain Armitage so I started watching it. At least it doesn’t have a laugh track. The mother character is a born again Evangelical and she gets a little tiring, but she means well.

The Ringer and The Prestige TV podcasts review every episode. They’re really funny because they point out how insane it is.

Beth threw a mousetrap at Jamie once if that counts. Also put her cigarettes out on the conference table in his office. 

It’s prestige because of the cast and production values. The writing is daytime soap opera, with a lot of violence instead of evil twins and characters who die and somehow come back as a different person because the first actor got a better gig. 

It’s on regular Paramount, older seasons on Peacock.  I don’t know if it’s on Paramount Plus but I dvr it off the basic cable Paramount channel. 

I watched it because I kept hearing about it, and got hooked in the same “WTF batshit insanity is this?”

I was wishing for this last night while watching the latest episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Bill Hader was schplendid!

I have been doing a Saul rewatch, and listened to an episode of The Ringer podcast where they interviewed Tony Dalton re Bad Choice Road.

He was also in the commercial for Mesa Verde Bank on Better Call Saul episode “Wexler vs McGill”. 

I ask the same question every time I dare to turn on “And Just Like That” for five minutes to see if it magically got better than the last time I watched five minutes of it. 

If I never hear the phrase “vaginal rejuvenation” again, it will be too soon.

A lot of it, I believe is this group think mentality. People who may not be highly educated, or just interested in expanding their knowledge of various topics, listen to friends and family, and are too weak willed to push back. Just a theory.

I watched about 40 minutes of it this morning, it is boring AF. Whatever she has had done to her face, she cannot make the facial expressions Lucy was known for.
