I met him many years ago. I was working at an independent theatre around the time My Own Private Idaho cane out - great movie for any Keanu fans out there.

My brother met him studying in China and he said he was very polite and down to earth. He even spoke some Chinese to the students which is cool. I’m jealous. 

I knew three different people lucky enough to have met Keanu years apart who had never met each other and I can confirm they each independently confirmed how genuinely nice he was to each of them (as if we ever expected something else anyway).

My nephew worked with her prior​ to the filing for divorce and continues to do so. Jennifer is the real deal-just as genuinely nice and compassionate on and off screen and in both public and private. Always on time and professional. What you see is what is real and she’s​a lot of fun as well

Self identifying as a Gypsy is not the same as being Romani and Europe is notoriously racist against that particular community so the UK lexicon arguably isn’t the greatest barometer for whether or not it’s acceptable to use that word. Just my opinion.

yeah, Gypsy is considered a slur.  Worse, “gypped” as in cheated, is still broadly used.

The mental gymnastics I see in the comments justifying this behavior makes my skin crawl.

Folks here are framing this as “creepy”. Obviously they have never been a parent to a 16-year old girl. It is unacceptable, it is criminal and as a parent I would have caused grievous bodily harm to him.
