By “consulting” they mean “to shut up about all the shady shit the company probably did”.

“You sayin’ there’s a room available?” - J. Tomsula
Yeah, Belichick lives rent-free inside Adam Gase's head, but Adam Gase's head is a soggy cardboard box under a train trestle.
Adam Gase’s beard is the male coach’s equivalent of the Elizabeth Holmes voice, right?
I just want to read one article without having to mute “Hey Lauren, I like your top.” If I wanted to watch Kinja video content, I’d unmute the video, or click on the original links (the Punjabi-Canadian hockey story was excellent video journalism just btw). Auto-play audio is fucking annoying, no matter what site is…
I know they haven’t played anyone good except the Bills, but it’s still worth noting the Pats are on pace to absolutely shatter their own NFL record for point differential in a season (+315 in 2007, currently at +175 and on pace for +400).
Eh, Liverpool found how to break them down late on, and they did it without Salah. They've been shaky the last 4 or 5 games, no doubt, but I'm a lot more concerned about the form in the 4 games before this one than I am this game.
So we’ve gone from “is it Liverpool’s title to lose” to “The title race is just getting started”.
This is why you do not write this shit until near halfway through the season.
The most surprising thread for me this season has been Tottenham. The Spurs were poised to join the ranks of the perennially dominant, or so I thought. They look very normal so far!
Not seen the Leftovers?
He did ask her outside the bakery something along the lines of “do you think I could lift 200lbs?” which could be a reference to how much the chief weighs...
When the chief walked out to his truck, the cops outside quickly hid their cigarettes, so idk.

That said, this was a powerhouse of an episode.
I thought it was interesting to write a sequel to the comic and not the movie, but I think it’s better for it. I think everyone covered the big stuff, here’s some little thoughts:
How about the new pop up ads when reading on your phone?
I think this show is going to be most Americans intro to the Tulsa Massacre. I was shocked when they started with it and how well it was done. It was sickening, embarrassing (as a translucent American), and utterly gripping. I went back and watched it again to soak up the details.
Its Robert Redford, the actor. He’s been president for 30 years. They say it about 5 times in the eoisode and they even have his picture up on a poster of notable presidents in the classroom scene
I watched it as a fan of the original Watchmen story, looking for how the plot had progressed. The political and social commentary hooked me, but I need a rewatch to process that aspect a little deeper. I adored Reznor’s score especially in the devastating cold open.
BTW... did anyone catch the name of the current (in…
Stunning piece of television. The Tulsa Massacre sequence was tense, gripping and nauseating all at the same time - I hope ignorant white Americans understand that it actually happened. Dramatically, it whipped me up for killing the white supremacists so that I now have whiplash from the ending and cannot wait to see…
The Tulsa Race Massacre should be covered in middle or high school. Just an unreal part of American history that gets largely ignored.
I’m absolutely blown away; I mean so many narrative/visual callbacks, so much political commentary with love towards the original novel... Somebody tell Alan Moore to stop being an asshole
