He’s not wrong. Most people aren’t “all good” or “all bad.” But we shouldn’t feel bad about Schneiderman resigning. He has no one to blame for his behavior but himself. And if he was a great AG, it’s an even greater shame that he can also attribute to himself.

Schneiderman was a strong AG who did a lot to help women find justice, AND he was an abusive, garbage piece of shit. Both of those facts are true. Not every abusive man is going to leave a legacy we can dismiss. Life is a lot messier than that.
