I forgot to mention something else that I use is a full hosts blocker. Basically it’s an up-to-date lists of bad / advertising hosts that you can add to your etc/hosts file (or wherever it is on windows System32/drivers/etc/hosts?). These could also be applied to your router instead of each individual machine.

I’m not a total hardliner into NoScript - thought I definitely think that if total protection is what you want, then absolutely go for it! I tried for a few weeks and just couldn’t buy into going that route - I kept turning it off.

Run them both. Add uBlock Origin Extra, Facebook Disconnect which disables FB pixel tracking (this also means you can’t view FB embeds like video, etc.)
