Fuck yeah, Jeni’s!
Fuck yeah, Jeni’s!
Polar seltzer or gtfo.
Ah, I meant the couple and didn’t mean to group all religious people together! I don’t imagine most religious people I know would do anything like this (but there is one couple I know who probably would have had it been on their radar).
That was my question as well. As a non-religious person, this delights me...but hnnng how are they okay with that?
79 missiles to Iraq. This dude is definitely on top of his shit.
But pot is the gateway drug! If you do pot...you WILL die of a heroin OD.
I grew up in the 80s and 90s when DARE was on the new side, and I felt that program really missed the mark. “These things make you feel really good but they’re bad and don’t do them.” I saw Trainspotting in college and I remember thinking that would have been a much better thing to show kids to scare the shit out of…
Yugoslavia was an Eastern Bloc country. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(I just got the shirt!)
I cosign your pro-Sensodyne sentiment all damn day! I get some sort of sensitive coating from my dentist and brush with Sensodyne...both important pieces of my tooth-sensitivity puzzle!
You’re 100% right! And excellent point about the Republican rage cycle. I think I worry about being angry about one thing to the exclusion of too many other things. A woman I met at a resistance art show the other day suggested I just focus on one or two things at a time so as not to get burnt out...and those one…
Absolutely it is! I have a friend who reached temporary saturation a few weeks ago and she was feeling very guilty for having to mute the news for a bit. I reminded her that you must take care of yourself to take care of others. That analogy of the oxygen masks on a plane etc, etc.
Thank you. I’m going to bookmark that, and I’m definitely checking out more of what she has to say.
I agree. I waver between being super overwhelmed to being passionately angry about an issue with laser focus, but I always worry I see “FUCK IT!” on the horizon. I’m not there, though. I just worry.
I totally agree! We have to pace ourselves or else we will burn out. I’ve got your back, too!
That’s what I’ve been doing! I will say that my local community is really wonderful, and the bigger events like that have a really good, supportive vibe. It definitely makes me feel less alone as my day-to-day office life makes me feel like I’m taking crazy pills.
It’s really hard to keep up some days, and then I worry I’m missing issue X because I’ve been pouring over issue Y. I think that’s by design, at least in part.
I love it! I forgot that those were a thing.
Ugh, so shrill!
Oh, fuck that garbage! I support you, dude.
