60% is far better than the norm here. Usually it’s 30% plus a trade offer of a game console or a cheap crappy firearm.  Or they ask to make payments

My tuned Passat TDI with 180hp will do that too.  However, it does have 300 ft/lb at the tire though

The only reason to buy a Supra is name-only nostalgia. With a BMW heart, it won’t have Toyota reliability, and in the same price bracket there are much better cars available.

Not trying to justify payday loans, as I have seen them destroy people. The reason 36% is not profitable is the short term of the loan.

My LX450 is my Forever Car

Came here to say this.  The Discontinued 80 series parts thread on Mud is depressing.  We need more Cruiser parts, not less

I take that back actually. The Evolution Winters on my Passat are marked Made in USA. My summer tires are RS-3As and I will check those this week when I pull them out of my storage unit.

I have a vibration at 85mph because the dealership refused to allow their techs to exceed the speed limit to diagnose it.  I can't really argue them though.  I wouldn't ever notice the issue if I drove according to the law

Now that I think about it, my current vehicle has an undiagnosed vibration at 85 mph because the dealership refused to agree to a test drive above the speed limit.  I think a lot of commenters here would complain about an 85mph vibration then throw a massive fit when they realized the tech drove it 85mph

Yep! Ive been instructed to use customer A’s car to drive customer B home, and let the boss and tech know if I was able to reproduce a vibration. I’ve seen techs be handed keys and a diagnostic sheet to test drive a car while they ran out to lunch. I’ve had days where I spent half my day driving a car all around town

Except dealerships don't bill that way.  They bill by book hours.  The labor manual says it takes 3 hours? You get billed for 3 hours whether the tech spent 1 hour or 10 hours on it.  You clearly know very little about what you are talking about

Me too.  He probably needed to test drive the truck anyway for diag or post-repair, and boss asked him to pick up something for the shop, or to use the test drive to go take care of the tool warranty he needed to do

What if he just needed to warranty swap a tool, and took the customers truck because he needed to test drive it anyway?  The lady said he came out with just one bag. Not like he was loading it down with concrete pavers and lumber

Sometimes it's a two birds, one stone situation.  Conversation goes, "Hey boss, I need to run to Lowe's and warranty out this screwdriver.". Boss says, "Here, take this truck.  I need you to drive it anyway to listen for a drivetrain noise.". Would you have a problem with that?  I see nothing wrong

So she sees her truck at Lowe’s and is rightfully upset, assuming her truck was being used to haul lumber or something.

I am a big fan of Cooper tires as well, but they make a lot of tires in Asia.  In fact I think none of my last 3 sets were USA made

Another angle, another meme

You can take the driver out of the Mustang, but you can’t take the Mustang out of the driver

This thing looks like an amalgamation of a C7 Corvette, Ford GT, and McLaren P1 with a hint of Lamborghini and a couple small Bugatti trademark features, namely the grille and B-pillar scoop.

These guys are the coolest supercar owners ever. Snow-drifting million-dollar-plus cars, while base model Corvette owners refuse to leave the garage with a 10% chance of rain.
