All GMT-URDs though

A lot cheaper.

Plane insurance. That said, a Cessna landing in what appears to (potentially) be either grass or a yet to mature wheat/barley type crop would be minimal damage.

If you said that a few years ago, I would have agreed with you 100%. Now, I am not so sure. It certainly seems there is a huge portion of people looking to latch on to something and generally speaking I would rather they latch on to a religion than team trump, etc.

It’s not only GM. Tesla has had more than their fare share of dumb door handle issues.

If an average GM vehicle had power door handles like they have power locks, then you would be constantly locked out or locked in simply because some tiny plastic gear broke.

Depends on how bad the dealers dick with the pricing. The previous r was usually MSRP if you were lucky.

Dedicated drift machine, no. But a system that can spit torque evenly front to rear AND 100% side to side on demand should be able to perform pretty well for most performance driving that doesn’t require being way sideways.

Controversial take:

From the driving reviews, I would say this one. Or a next gen rs3 with the torque vectoring.

Don’t worry about your 2008 Silverado fuel filter. The top of the fuel pump will rust off first. And no worries about that either, because the fuel tank cross members, especially the front one, will rust just enough for you to be able to remove all of it with a small hammer.

Or why isn’t it better protected?

If expansion and contraction is your worry, then it could easily be swapped out for a plastic barb.

Swap out single batteries all the time. I have equipment that uses AA format batteries where I generally use rechargable nimh batteries. The charger keeps track of the performance of individual batteries and when one craps out or stops performing I just toss it and throw in a new one - or perhaps use one that matches

As someone that’s been into VW’s for a pretty long time and has watched many generation come an go, I am not sure if this is just the typical hesitation that everyone has when a new gen hits? I actually find the 8 to be generally better looking than the 7 - even the lights and interior.

Except higher trap speeds mean exactly that - faster acceleration down track. This could be a combo of a soft launch or more power. A hard launch car will trap lower for a seemingly similar elapsed time. A car that launches soft will need to make that up with more acceleration down track achieve the same time.

Wrong again -

Good point, perhaps that is a factor. That said, it seems to be more in the direction of adding drama or tough factor in many designs.

Might not be exactly the same thing, but what is with the trend of having tail lights and headlights that protrude dramatically from the body lines? In generally it looks tacked on and distracting. Not saying they need to be 100% smooth, but it certainly seems the trend is to the lights butt out for no particular

My eyes hurt, for sure, but I’m not butt hurt. Just correcting really bad info.
