Maybe 150 was up to the turn advisory sign.  Then brown skid mark all the way into the pool.

Say what you want, it’s way slower which makes your comments about speed crack pipe. HP and torque differences aside, the RAV is probably slower and so pissed off looking because it has to haul around that giant loaded black plastic diaper on its ass.

I disagree about the mk7.   In general I think the 8 looks much better.   The mk7 is a bit boring and slab sided to me.  And I’ve always felt that the front end is quite as finished looking as it could be.

No wonder though. The Outback is the defining vehicle in it’s class. And the other Golf wagon version was similar to a base to mid level Golf, but they don’t sell many Golf’s either. IMO, VW would have been better served selling it in a GTI spec, a car which leads it’s market. Or the R, which sells less, but always

RAV4 prime? Not even close.

As an owner of Golf platform VWs and Audis, I am the exact opposite. VW, especially GTI/R wins for me. Better format and - at least in previous generations - a more functional interior. The A3, even in sportback guise, compromises headroom and cargo room for a swoopier roof line.

8" of ground clearance is great for running over the occasional parking stop. Otherwise, no one around here is using any of it.

Even though American’s are clearly terrified of square back cars - especially long ones that aren’t jacked up (and then it’s not only fine, it’s the standard) I am not completely sure this wouldn’t sell.

How the fuck can someone go on with republican talking points about how they start fires” and how they won’t get arrested “since the police are defunded”

Same here. Farm kid in the city who still has a bunch of friends from back in the day. It’s frustrating, especially the parroting of the talk point of the day all the damn time.

The irony is that farmers on average take bigger government handouts than just about any group. $46 billion in direct payments last year alone.

But the best buy republicans are directly to blame for a lot of the free speech confusion, so to speak. They’ve gone through a huge amount of effort to tone their message to avoid hate speech connotations in most cases - all the while pushing the same racist bullshit as before, or even worse than before. Push things

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequence. I know these best buy republicans love to think they can spew hate and not have it come back at them, but that just isn’t the way life or freedom works.

While the Philly police were shitheads for burning a block down and to this day still have race issues internally, I think it’s safe to say they weren’t bombing MOVE for just being black.

You are right, it doesn’t have much to do with cars.

Love the wagon of this car.  It just looks so right to me.   Interior a bit less so, but outside still looks good, IMO.

I understand the price for Spektrum, as it was a serious diversion from the normal production line. Sadly the take rate was pretty low, likely because of the cost. That said, those who did pay the $2500 will likely get their money back because of the low take rate, as many of them are highly desirable.

This thing is big enough, you could probably do both.   But I still strongly think that a box is a good idea just to get crap out of the cabin while traveling.

A roof box is a good solution for stuff even when you aren’t sleeping. Opens things up inside, less crap to fly around inside if there ever should be an accident.

Sounds like they should have named it Maximum Overdrive instead of Plaid
