You’d think that, but they smell difference beyond just not being white. For example, I did a road trip to Memphis with some fairly ordinary very white friends from a big northeast city. We didn’t get threatened, but we certainly got shitty looks and attitude from more people than I would expect. The church ladies out

Trailer is great where you have room. Go into the city or down a tight trail in the middle of nowhere.

Fart can equipped inline 4 hatches have kinda faded here in the last 10 years. Partially overtaken by gremlin fart flat 4's and boring turbo whatevers. You rarely hear the NA raw fart any more.

Truck bodies are pretty thin in general. Bed sides especially. The sheet metal generally has very minimal rust protection. Not a great combo.

Perhaps mostly because of trucks being simple and historically overbuilt - and perhaps more valuable and thus less likely to be thrown out as quickly.

The grand irony for trucks in rust country is that SO many of them fall to pieces from salt and generally have subpar rust proofing to the average car, especially in the last 25 years or so.

You are right - it’s no one’s business if you drive it on private property, using all your own resources and making sure that no downsides to drift off site.

Serious question - when prepping for surgery do you clean your hands AND your phone?

That may be the case, but if so this is the most rock dumb way to protest it.

Similar to the check engine light game, one should not forget that VW was in the black plastic game long before this. Look at any mk1, mk2 GTI, or even mk3 GTIs (especially the euro varieties). B3 Passats. The list goes on and on...

Yeah, this is def my nightmare version of a car fire.   Do not want.

I guess it’s saved from the wall, but I’d bet that most everything on that car is very much not savable after coming down on the track like that.

It depends on the steel. Modern bike steel alloys normally gain strength with TIG. Old tubes can become brittle in the heat affected zone.

You might not care, but would it be disrespectful?

I’m curious what the bumpers would look like if you painted the portion below the bump strip to match the body.

I’m curious what it would look like with the bottom portion of the bumper painted the same color as the body. Leave the bump strip around.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.   I mean it costs more than $125k.   Somewhere between 30k and 55k more than a TRX, for example.  Not exactly the same truck, but it’s a lot of money for an f250.

It is a $125k+ f250.    250 of them seems to be quite a lot with that taken into account.

You’d be right if that vehicle was a flame throwing drone that only tracks and burns innocent children while singing OH CANADA.

Oh don’t kid yourself. It’s totally because they can pack more square steering wheels in a box and thus lower shipping costs from China.
