Going from previous GM history, do those complaints really get reported up the chain?

I am just about the opposite viewpoint on looks. The Model S isn’t great, isn’t terrible either, if a bit old looking now. X looks similar in photos but the scale is a bit off in real life. 3 is boring, but generally not insulting.

Perhaps, but what does an 85mph limiter have to do with dangerous driving? There are plenty of places you can drive 85mph in a modern car, perfectly safe. There are plenty of places you can get into a ton of trouble at 35mph.

I generally don’t mind it, though I found them to be a bit on the bland side, along with the MK4 VWs of the time. They represent a stripping of brand/platform character to me.

Don’t forget that Jalopnik thought it was OK to set cross country time records while doing speeds of well over 130mph on public highways.

Except it’s not. The keyed version generally requires you to know where it is when you want to use the car.

With a family the walk up feature is the most annoying part about keyless, IMO.   

Have a family and still chose the key over push button entry for the most part.

If you look under it, large pieces of the think are surface rust coated simply because they said fuck it and didn’t paint things or half ass coated them. There is a lot more of the same theory lurking where you cant see it behind panels.
