While the scene certainly wasn’t dead, it was all but forgotten about by most people who weren’t hardcores. SFIV seemed to have brought fighting games back into the mainstream gaming consciousness. Once it came out, fighting games suddenly seemed like a bigger deal than they were prior, even if series like Tekken,

I’d say Tekken kept the genre on life support more than it revitalized it. Even among 3D fighters, Tekken 4 and Soul Calibur 2 - regardless of how the former was ultimately received - were the last genuinely big releases. (Really, the last AAA-status launches for the entire genre prior to Street Fighter 4.) The

KOF never dies. It has been here since ‘94. Personally I’m not a fan of the Ash arc story but some character design (2001-2003 for example) were pretty good.

I’ve backed 22 projects. 17 were delivered on-time or delivered after reasonable and fully-explained delays. One is in the mail right now and should show up this week (it had also been delayed but also gave frequent updates). Of the remaining four, one—a video game called Chasm—updates constantly and is clearly making

And 76% of people are really super intelligent llamas wearing skin suits. It’s fun to make things up isn’t it.

Maybe for you, but a lot of people have roommates or friends who live close enough to play in person (which is definitively the better experience, even with a smaller screen). If I were still in college, I’d hate this news. As it is, I play Mario Kart with coworkers on my lunch break at work — I’d be devestated if

Splitscreen is still entirely necessary for people who like to play with their friends in the same room. I’d hardly called having local friends “outdated”.

Na... there is something magical about sitting next to your sibling/friend and head shot him right in the face. Local multiplayer isn’t going to disappear. The fact that sports game are so popular still is an evidence of that.

Is there really not a single one of him motivating Shinji Ikari? Someone get on that!

It’s surprisingly very simple. The gyrocoptor fits in the top room of all the towers almost like a glove. Almost like if they had just dropped the height of the room, or just the windows, by a couple pixels it could’ve at least made it tricky and/or hard to get back down.

You...used the gyrocopter to get to the top of each tower?

I was once like you.

You chose a good name.

Not so much. You can adjust the diopter quite a bit, so you may be able to have it match your prescription (as long as your prescription is the same in both eyes) but if that doesn’t work, you’d probably need contacts.

If you’re getting pooping up in front of you, maybe you’re feeding Chop the wrong food.

There was an article on i09 about the new Batman V Superman trailer, and he made a caption on the gif header image reading “DARKNESS!”, in reference to Batman’s song from The Lego Movie. I replied with “NO PARENTS!”, and we’ve been shouting lines from the song in a random order ever since.

Is this meant to illustrate my point or disprove it? Because to me it illustrates it.
