Quite the opposite. I was a HUGE fan. Knowing that Transistor surpasses Bastion makes me tear up a little, with quiet joy.

Personally, I get games like these early because the longer I wait to play the game, the greater my chances of accidentally stumbling over a spoiler.
For Pikmin, that's real-time strategy. Transistor takes on a far more peculiar beast: the action role-playing game. I don't really know what that mouthful means at this point, but the way Supergiant handles the hybrid genre is far more interesting, and far more rewarding, than Bastion ever was.
True as well.
Yeah, but even if they sound decent, they're usually wired, proprietary, or have have suspect build quality (lookin' at you, Logitech G390). Rule of thumb is that you can't trust a wireless headset under $100, but the Sony Wireless Headsets are an exception to the rule.
I think you'll need to depict the situation in Sid Meier's Civilization terms. Everyone knows how tense the late game land grab is, when you've got this huge standing army and these tiny neighbors... Then again, that would also mean that our closest allies are on the verge of nuking us. Lookin' at you, Gandhi.
Yeah, ouch. So what's the word for the 3D? Still in the pipeline?
Most folks (myself included) feel that these cans sound best without the virtual surround, so it's not too much of a loss for the PC in terms of quality, although it'd be nice to have as a feature.
Yeah, and I'll admit the Virtual 7.1 doesn't touch Dolby goodness, but for the price it's hard to beat. In my opinion, the only headsets that match or exceed the Gold Wireless in terms of quality and features start at around $130 or $150.
The Sony Gold Wireless Headset is one of your six contenders for the best, and probably the best option for dedicated Sony console gamers. [Sony Gold Headset, $85]
Papa Blox - Not a lead character, mind you. This old guy continues Nintendo's tradition of making strangely compelling elderly characters (see: Cranky Kong, Peppy). This codger gives advice in the Pushmo and Crashmo games, which have their own distinct aesthetic. Like Dillon, he's not just a new character, but a new…
If he has Johnny Depp's voice, I'm sold.
You may have missed this, but it's been happening—even as people have been saying that it hasn't. It's not been happening the way it did in the '80s or '90s, mind you.
No! That's Odysseus and/or Trevelyan!
Yep. Jack dropped the mic like a boss. Shawn is pretty cool though, especially in how he answers pretty much every email you send him and is surprisingly, legitimately, geeky. He's a gamer's gamer (big fan of Prince of Persia and was a hardcore Mac gamer, of all things), and once he settles down and establishes…
Now I wanna go to a Best Buy and re-watch all of Chuck through an Oculus.
*nods* *smiles* It is known.
People looking for a foil to their dour personalities.
Beat me to it.
