God I love that one. Mowtendoo is a genius.

I'll be frank. I had no interest in Hearthstone. At some point you guys were like "wow, this game is great, play with us!" It caught my attention, and then I saw something shiny, and promptly forgot what I was thinking about.

Now playing

I am posting this waaaay too often (and almost exclusively on Patricia's articles), but... I MUST:

Yeah that Camera was super hot, and the "creative" uses of PlayRoom took off a lot better than anyone could have anticipated. But I agree, even without the Camera, the DS4's sixaxis is still a fine piece of tech that needs to utilized to a much greater extent, and not just for on-screen keyboards and spray painting

Fixed an issue where if a player drank Whisky in their apartment until they passed out, this could cause a clone to appear who would then attack them.

Fixed a small issue where players could still activate the Apartment drinking activities after drinking themselves unconscious.

I can see how "scientists" can be "pedantic," but "pedants" aren't necessarily "scientists," and I think you fall in the latter. You're floating a number of in-congruent arguments for the sake of arguing.

Word.

Ah... so we do hope, my friend.

Sign me up.

I'm glad you're keeping count. I'd be lost without you.

Actually more like 6 times, once for each person I was responding to. Sorry, I treat each person as a separate conversation.

Yeah, crash and burn is a bit of hyperbole. I also agreed from the beginning that Sony keeping their cameras optional was largely the reason why they didn't get panned when those devices lost favor. I probably should have made that more clear.

You know, the whole "VGChartz isn't a good source" thing is a lazy argument. No matter what people say, it's still a reasonable estimate. If they under/overtrack by a few thousand, so what? It's better than our guesses, and for the most part they tend to stay close to NPD's official numbers. In addition, the "5

Yeah we're basically repeating agreement, haha. I was just emphasizing the brilliance of Sony's plan. By presenting the camera as a mere accessory, it wouldn't guarantee developer support or games. But because the Kinect was mandatory for the XB1 at the time, there would potentially be some kind of developer support

That's correct. A few people also thought PS Japan's decision to omit the camera was a half-assed move, because we wanted something new and snazzy to distinguish the new generation and go head-to-head with the XBox, but in the end those old suits overseas made the right choice.

Totally. They were expendable flops, and though Sony was teased for them, they weren't panned for it. MS on the other hand...

Microsoft owns the IPs but they don't own the original developers. Arguably, 343 Studios did a good job with Halo 4, but that last GoW came a little lukewarm. With Epic and Bungie free to spread the love, MS needs to start bringing in permanent development partners if they plan on withstanding the onslaught of Naughty

Indeed, at least for now. While MS focuses on its domestic market, Sony's attacking foreign and emerging markets like a 19th century imperial power. So far, Sony's got a very strong grip on the huge, untapped market in South America, and soon they'll be able to sell units down there without outrageous tariffs blowing

I think it's missing a little something:
