i think some of the sister site’s content leaks through every now and then. they really should do a better job filtering stories and not just post them everywhere because a kotaku writer happens to also like ufc.
oh come off of it! his bluster and bravado is all for entertainment. thats his sense of humor and he does it to get some laughs and make it all fun. do you see these guys during fights?! they beat the shit out of each other but exchange hugs and fist bumps in between rounds. ive never seen such sportsmanship between…
If we go by that logic this site becomes a sports blog.
You must be (relatively) new to MMA. It has always been like this. Tank Abbott, Tito Ortiz, Ken Shamrock etc... Only difference now is the platform size.
The sport and its fans are different now.
Like ufc.kotaku.com? Or Sports.kotaku.com? This was posted to the main page, not a side blog. There’s deadpsin!
If only there was a sports blog this could have been posted to...
So how is McGregor part of video game, otaku, and nerd culture?
“It’s a film that will expect its audience to cheer as a woman in hijab asks about her rights and is told, “You ain’t got shit, sweetheart.”
Hillary lost. All of you were so, so wrong and it seems like you’re still coming to grips with what that means. I will tell you.
You and Gizmodo are partly to blame for this problem. By misreporting how Facebook determines newsworthiness for the Trending section (calling it “suppression” rather than simply a subjective choice by the news curators), Facebook took the human element out of it, letting misinformation spread quicker.
THANK YOU!!
I just knew exactly what was happening at the time. Gizmodo basically said “Hey Breitbart, if you go attack Facebook we got your back.”
I’m sure they are wrestling with that internally. Facebook was lying to their customers and being deceptive about their practices in the news feed. That is not a good thing to be doing. Gizmodo called them out on it and inadvertently created something worse.
Just a reminder that Facebook’s news has been a disaster since YOU personally used anonymous sources to destroy fair curation. Honestly do you feel guilt?
you guys started this with your “waaah they are censoring conservatives on Trending.”
....thus asking whatever happened too it...and here we sit, with a left leaning Gawker/Gizmodo Media Group blog lamenting that the corporate overlords didn’t do more to stifle speech and thought because the result of an election isn’t to their liking.
So we want FB policing peoples thoughts and comments and to do so we are going to label them as ‘media’ to hold them accountable.
